Jessica Evans and her little brother Daniel are close. So close in fact that she's helped him and his friends when Will Byers vanished, and helped them and El (Eleven) fight off the demogorgons. And even becoming friends with Mike and Will's siblings, Nancy and Jonathan.
Jessica and Steve have been best friends ever since the first day of kindergarten. New school, and new people; nearly anyones worst nightmares, especially for a little kid. During recess as Jessica was sitting alone in a bench, Steve came up to her and they instantly became best friends. 12 years later they're still best friends, even if it means Jessica has to watch the lover of her life be with somebody else.

New story; old and overused story line. To make myself feel vested about this I'm using the excuse (that IS true 😂) that I my self conscious, procrastinating butt has saved from publishing this for nearly a year and a half.
