Shaynes POV

I was at the end of the talent show and we walked outside the school.

I grabbed Damien's face and kissed him.

I let the kiss and I went into my dads car. I didn't know he was standing outside the car though and he stopped me.

"What did I tell you"

"I. I. I love him"

"You can't faggot get in the car" those words hurt and I got in

Back at home

I got home and my dad took out his whip. He slashed me and whipped open my skin. I was bleeding and he kept doing it.

He finally stopped and I ran to the bathroom. I covered up my wounds.

I was crying a lot.

Next day

I walked into school and I saw Damien crying on the curb.

I ran over to him and he said

"My family's moving to LA"

"What...that's fine though we can-"

"I'm sorry Shayne. Wait what happened to your arm"

"Oh uhh nothing" I didn't tell him about my dad

"Please tell me. What happened to your arm"

"My step dad doesn't allow me to date guys. When he saw me kiss you he did this to me"

"Shayne that's terrible"

"I mean I'm fine as long as I have you"

"Shayne...your not fine. This hurts me to say this but...I can't be your boyfriend if this is what happens. I'm sorry Shayne but it's for your health."

Can't be your boyfriend. Those words hit me like a level 5 hurricane. I was so shocked at what he said and he hugged me

"I will always love you Shayne"

"P-please don't leave me"

"It's for your own good"

"P-please" I said grabbing tighter onto his shirt.

"I'm sorry" and with that he stood up and went inside.

I was torn on what just happened. I fell on the curb and cried.
