Shaynes POV

Seven months later

I was walking through a Starbucks with my boyfriend Damien. I was all cuddled up against him. We got up to the front of the line. Damien waited for our barista to come. The person came and I looked at him.

He looked...familiar. I had an off feeling about him. His name tag said Jason and he looked like a guy from high school.

His voice sounded familiar too. I definitely knew Jason. He was a guy from my football team. So why did I feel scared. Wait he's that guy. He's Jason, the guy who raped me. Oh my god.

I started tearing up. I started crying more and more.

I needed to leave. I walked out of the coffee shop.

I was crying so much now. Damien followed me and kept asking me what's wrong.

I just kept crying and trying to explain through my sobs. That's when Damien kissed me. His kisses always made me feel better when I needed it.

After a while of kissing he let go and asked me what's wrong.

"Remember The guy named Jason from high school on our football team?"

"The one who raped you?"

"That's the barista."

He dropped me and went back in.

I followed him to make sure he didn't kill the guy.

He ran over the counter and tried to grab Jason.

I brought him over and tried to calm his senses, telling him to calm down.

"We don't need coffee today, we can't get it later. Just please calm down."

"I can't calm down knowing that monster isn't in prison for what he did to you."

"Baby, please calm down for me."

He turned to me. I could only see good in his eyes. He was doing this for me.

I couldn't let him kill the guy though because that is probably what would happen.

"Okay" he sighed and said in defeat

"Now lets get out of here." I said
