Forty Six

Shaynes POV

They had finished his surgery getting the bullet from his shoulder.

They had told me that the shooter was Richard Topp. The man who used to beat me and his wife.

I didn't know he was that crazy to shoot up an office. I hope he dies.

That's when Damien wakes up. His shoulder is being held in his cast.

"So you were waiting with me this whole time."

"Well I couldn't leave until you woke up."

"Do you know what would make me feel so much better?"

"What Damien?" I asked tired

"To have you in my arms in this bed."

"Cmon, I can't get in there with you."

"It will make me feel better to have the someone I love back in my arms."

I dropped the towel around me on the chairs. I got up tired and walked over to the bed. I got in and let him wrap his not shot arm under my waist and the one with the cast over my waist.

I was so tired from this day that I just fell asleep in his arms. I hope no one comes in.

A few hours later.

I wake up and I wonder what time is it? I took my phone out and it said 7:30.

It had been five hours.

I needed to see if everyone else was okay.

I let go of Damien's arms and got out. He's the one who needed the sleep. He's knocked out cold.

I walked through and found no hospital rooms for smosh members, thank god.

But I didn't know if anyone was dead. I looked up smosh shooting and no casualties. I know I can go back to work without grief.

I went up to the person at the front desk and asked to see the doctor for Damien Haas.

I asked the doctor if he could come home this night.

"He can he just needs to wear the cast for about four months until it's fully healed. Bullets are only dangerous if they aren't taken out and the bleeding doesn't stop. I can get him signed out now if you'd like."

"Please."

They went to sign Damien out.
