Chapter two ~ tingles

Chapter two

I had my next three classes with both Adrian and Josh. Now, standing in the cafeteria looking for Josh, I became impatient.

"Adrian, can I take your car to get the food?" I asked.

"Yeah, just don't scratch her. Bring me back a burger please?" He handed me his keys just as Evelyn ran to us.

"Wanna sit at my table?" She asked.

"I'm going to get us lunch, but when I get back I'll sit with you." I said as I walked towards the double doors leading out of the cafeteria.

Once outside I got into Adrian's black Mercedes and sped off to my house to grab a salad in a freshly washed bowl with fruit. I drove to mcdonalds next for Adrian and Josh before running through the school. We still had 45 minutes left for lunch. After that short run I was exhausted. I noticed Adrian sitting at a table with Evelyn and a bunch of other people so I made my way over to him. Josh stole the seat next to him so with a sigh I plopped onto Adrian's lap. Across from me, He was frowning. The man from the hallway was glaring at Adrian.

"Did you bring my food woman?" Adrian joked.

I handed him the three burgers he always gets before handing Josh a Big Mac and opening my salad.

Evelyn smiled before she spoke. "This is Ariel, my girlfriend."

I looked at the pair. Ariel had taken true to her name, with fire truck engine red hair that reached her butt. Her blue eyes lit up with happiness, and her cheeks grew red. She looked small, like me. Evelyn had long blonde hair and green eyes with a plump face. I already knew she was tall.

"Pleasure to meet you, beautiful." Ariel said as she shook my hand.

"Pleasures all mine." I said back.

"If I didn't know better I'd say that you were hitting on her Ariel." Evelyn said with a playful look in her eyes.

"You're the only woman for me baby." Ariel whispered back as their lips met. My eyebrows shot up into my hairline as they kissed. I felt Adrian grow hard under me as he stared at them and I moved away. We had been together for so long that I wasn't bothered by anything he did.

"I'm Megan, and this is my boyfriend Hank. His sister Huntley is across from him." A girl with long black hair said.

"You already know me, I'm Kate." Kate said. I scowled at her.

"I'm Lane her boyfriend." The guy next to her spoke up.

"I'm Grayson. Gray for short." He said. Grayson. The name suited him. "Eve is my sister. Her twin is Adam."

I laughed quietly at the irony of their names. There were too many people to remember, so I noted who I thought would be important.

"Megara." I said when everyone was looking at me. "My name is Megara. Ara or Meg for short."

"I'm her twin Josh, this is Adrian."

"Are you two dating?" Eve asked. I looke at Adrian with my eyebrow raised. We burst into laughter.

"Us.... Dating... No... Freaking way." I got out between my fits of laughter. Adrian sat under me laughing silently. "Just friends."

"You look perfect together." Ariel muttered.

"About as perfect as a dog and cat in a hot tub." I joked. Grayson laughed as he stood.

"Ara, you've barely eaten anything." Josh scolded.

"I'm not hungry, I'll eat more later." I whispered.

Adrian stood up and placed me on the ground as he led us to our lockers.

"Take your medicine Ara, I'm going to take mine and then go to the bathroom." Adrian instructed.

I unlocked my locker and quickly opened the Monday tab on the medicine container. I swallowed the pills with some water from my bottle. Hands settled on my hips and I smiled. "That didn't take you long at all!"

I turned around as tingles erupted all along my body.
