Chapter thirteen
Pregnancy… Sucks. I never want to have children again. I had just hit my five month mark and my feet were already killing me. I literally look like I swallowed a melon. My belly had grown quite a bit in two months. I had started getting weird looks in school, but I just ignored them considering I’d be graduating soon anyways. Grayson was becoming more clingy as my pregnancy continued, I couldn’t be away from him for an hour without multiple phone calls or texts. I was beyond annoyed. Plus, I was constantly crying! I couldn’t stop. I cried when someone died in a movie, I cry if I fail a test, I cry if I pass a test, I cry if my shoe lace comes untied, I cry if I get a stain on my shirt, and I certainly do bawl my eyes out when one of my favorite shirts doesn’t fit me anymore. All Grayson does is try and calm me down with his soothing voice. All I want to do is punch him in his throat sometimes. I love him, I truly do, and I’d never want to hurt him on a normal day, but these hormones are kicking my butt.
Eve and Ariel had set up a baby nursery in their house, and my dad set one up here. I hadn’t wanted to do it because I wanted to put together the one that would be at the new house. The one Grayson and I bought together. It was just a matter of time now.
I rolled out of Grayson’s arms and rushed towards the bathroom to pee and shower. I could barely see my feet anymore. When I walked back into the room I woke Grayson up to make him paint my toe nails since I couldn’t reach. He had been doing this every week for a while now.
“Thanks babe.” I said against his lips.
“No problem.” He muttered before going back to sleep.
“Sure, sleep while you can. Once the babies are here you’ll be up in the middle of the night. Lucky for you, you can actually sleep right now. It just so happens I have two humans pressing down on my bladder every second of the god damn day!” I growled. Grayson sighed and got up. He was showered and dressed in fifteen minutes.
“Want to go shopping?”
“Of course I do! What kind of question is that?!” I asked.
“Sorry, I should have thought before I spoke.”
“Yeah, be sure to do that next time.”
“OW! Ow ow ow ow!” I complained. “My feet are killing me!”
“Here, get on my back.” Grayson ordered, “I wont drop you.”
“I’m too heavy!”
“No you’re not babe. I bench 350, you’re nowhere near there.”
With a sigh I climbed onto his back like a monkey and allowed him to carry me around the mall. People were staring and smiling at us, and I smiled back. Grayson held onto my legs with an iron grip as we paraded through stores and spent money on things for the babies. In spencers I bought just about every baby outfit they had, and also bought one of those belly button rings for pregnant women so that I wouldn’t have to worry about it. In hot topic, I spent money on tons of hats and accessories I could put on my munchkins. Grayson and I both agreed on the strollers and car seats but those would have to be bought later. I began nibbling on Grayson’s ear as he walked us into Macy’s.
“Baby, we’re here to find you a nice dress, not to get it on in the dressing room.” Grayson complained on a groan. I smiled against his neck and decided to give him a rather large hickey. He put me down on my feet and led me over to the women’s clothes. I allowed him to pick out a few dresses, and I went to try them on.
The first dress was pink, and so not me. The white sundress I tried on next was perfect. It had a large skull printed on the side and I loved it. I placed the dress gently onto the hanger and put it on the keeping rack. I tried on a black dress that also went on the keep rack, followed by a midnight blue, and a dark red. I got dressed right after trying them on and rushed to Grayson.
