Chapter sixteen
My two little kittens nibbling on my fingers woke me up on Saturday morning. They were snuggled up around my stomach, and nibbling on the finger of my right hand, that rested on top of my bulge. Gray was staring at me with his signature smirk, and I leaned in to kiss him.
“I love you.” He whispered before he got up and proceeded to get dressed in nothing but swim shorts. “I’m going to clean the barbeque, it’s almost noon. Ariel and Eve are already here. I’d suggest putting on your bathing suit because you are swimming with me today.”
“Yes master.” I muttered with an eye roll. I hissed at the pain my feet were in when I stood up, but ignored it and waddled to my closet. I put on the black bikini, and slipped on a pair of elastic shorts. I didn’t bother with a shirt. I applied a little mascara, and braided my hair before walking down to the living room. Ariel and Eve greeted me warmly before moving back out to the pool. People slowly began showing up. Tom arrived with his girl and kid a little after one, followed by Aiden, Cade, and Emily. Hannah showed up with her sister Gemma right After a bunch of Grayson’s friends, which included Nick, Adrian and Josh. Matt was the last to arrive, and he stared at me in shock when I opened the door.
“I didn’t know we had babies on the way!” He cried out. I giggled at his silliness. He enveloped me in a hug, and we became engrossed in our conversation. He was upset that Grayson hadn’t told him about the pregnancy, even though Matt worked with Gray damn near all day every day. We talked about how far along in his apprenticeship Gray is, and then we discussed the magazine and billboards.
“I’m going to come in on Monday, I want another tat.” I said.
“That’s awesome! What do you want? If you give me an idea now I can draw it up over the weekend.”
“I just found out I’m having two little boys. I want their names on my wrist.”
“Just their names? Nothing special?”
“I also want a flower piece on my thigh. If we can also do that I’d love you forever.” I said.
“Well, be prepared to make more room in that lovely heart of yours. I’ll draw up the flower piece before Monday. What are their names going to be?”
I whispered the names in his ear, and he smiled. Gray and I had decided on the names a few nights ago, and we agreed to keep their names a secret until their birth.
“Those are beautiful names. So, one of the artists at the shop had this amazing idea of making shirts. She’s a mom, and she designed this shirt that says, ‘tattooed moms are the best’ and I was wondering if you’d be open to modeling it? After we get you all inked up again of course. Gray is going to model one of the outfits. I’ll have a few others their.”
“Yeah, sure!” I said enthusiastically.
“The photographer also wants to do a few more shots of you and Gray. Everyone loved your photo’s and personality before. You’re going to grace the cover of another magazine babe.”
“Are you hitting on my girl?” Gray asked as he wrapped his arms around me.
“Damn, I’m sorry. I thought we could get away with it.” Matt joked.
“I’ve got Adrian and Josh slaving over the grill so I can spend some time with you. How are my babies today?”
“They’re starving.” I muttered.
“Let’s get you a nice snack then.”
I was dragged inside where I got a bowl of chips. I smacked Matts hand when he tried to grab a handful of my snack, and he chuckled at me.
