The sun shines inside the small complex interior. Jamie and Brooke lay together on the tiny single bed. They gaze upon each other's eyes and stare deeply.
"Huh" Jamie says as she notices that Brooke's eyes are cocoa brown.
"What? What's wrong?" Brooke asks worryingly.
"Nothing" Jamie says reassuring Brooke. "You are beautiful."
Brooke smiles, putting her hand behind Jamie's neck and kissing her. Jamie pulls back, worried.
"Why, what's wrong?" Brooke asks.
Jamie breathes then starts her rambling. "It's just. Are we a thing. Or is just between us. Are we letting our friends? What's happening? I just wanna know where we're at."
Brooke's laughs and sits upright. Jamie follows her, asking "what's funny about this?"
"No... It's just, you are so adorable" Brooke says almost in tears from laughter.
"Oh. Well I'm just confusedly worried." Jamie explains.
"I know that obviously" Brooke says, continuing in laughter. "When are you not worried?"
Jamie looks upset, still not getting her answer. "So what are we?"
Brooke's laughter mellows as she looks to Jamie, taking her hand. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
Jamie's eyes sparkle in happiness as she says, "Yes."
"So where do you want to go on our first date?" Brooke asks. "Hales for some mashed potatoes? Or the park?"
"Mmm the park definitely the park" Jamie says as she gets up.
"Why the park?" Brooke asks, as she also gets up.
"So we can make out behind a tree" Jamie says, with a playful tone and a cheerful smirk.
Brooke laughs, pulling Jamie in for a kiss.
