"Well that's just stupid" Harper tells Jamie.

"What do you mean? She went behind my back, then she forced me into this position where I have to choose between her and my future." Jamie explains.

"Aww I'm sorry, are you looking for someone to tell you that you're right? Well you aren't. She sent your application cause she knew you would get it. But she never knew that you would be forced to make a decision like this. And so what? Make the damn decision already. You've been here for three days and my couch smells like depression and Netflix."

"No! That's an inaccurate description" Jamie says as she opens a bag of Cheetos.

"Oh really..." Harper asks sarcastically as she eyes the Cheetos. "Well how about this? You left your dorm because you didn't know why you were angry, now you're angry at yourself for leaving in the first place, trying to justify your actions through me, which by the way you aren't going to get. You love Brooke and don't really care that she sent your application in. The only reason why you were angry in the first place is because you realized that you loved Brooke so much that you chose your entire future over her. You just didn't want to believe it."

Jamie sits is disbelief while crunching into a Cheeto. "Wow... I can really be a bitch sometimes huh?"

"Yeah no kidding. Now go get your girlfriend back."

Jamie runs out of Harper's dorm, carrying her duffel bag. She sprints out the building and towards hers. She runs as fast as she could, Jamie opens the doors and Brooke was nowhere to be found. Jamie finds a rose golden necklace, the one Brooke was supposed to give to her as her birthday gift. Beside it was a note.

Hey, I was going to give this to you after our first kiss, but then you passed out so... yeah I couldn't give it to you cause that would be weird. I just wanna say that your future isn't going to wait for you. You have to reach for your dreams, even if I'm not there to celebrate them with you. I will always love you, that will never change. I'll be the sexy journalist traveling the country and you can be the even sexier lawyer, punisher of crimes. Oh wait, that's a judge, but still, you get the idea. Go to British Columbia and be happy there, think of me sometimes to give you a feeling of home, but not too often. Make new friends and find your soulmate. Remember to reach for your dreams.

Jamie picks up the necklace and sees the engraving in my dreams.

Jamie cries in doubt, in disbelief, in pain. She calls Harper and tells her to find Brooke.

"I found her, she is in Hals" Harper says.

Jamie rushes over to Hal's, where they often are together. She runs inside the small building and find Brooke there sitting eating fried chicken.

"What are you doing here?" Brooke says to Jamie, getting up in surprise.

"I just need to tell you something." Jamie says with tears falling down.

"No you have to go. I won't let you stay." Brooke replies.

"Fine. If you won't let me say anything, help me put on the necklace?" Jamie says, holding up the shining rose gold with swollen eyes from the tears.

Walking towards Jamie, she takes the necklace and wraps it around Jamie's neck, clasping it on. Jamie turns around and kisses Brooke, with her hand in Brooke's dark locks.

They finish and Jamie hugs Brooke tightly, whispering in her ear "I love you too" before walking out forever.
