Chapter 10.

Jay's P.O.V

'Ouch! ' I yelped as a paper ball hit my face at 6 a.m. What the...?  I turned around the room only to find No one there. Then who...?  Oh..

I smiled and turned to the balcony door which was conveniently open and saw Lexi standing in her own balcony.

I walked up to the railing and smiled sleepily at her.

'Hey there sleepyhead,' she smiled and said.

God. How can anyone look this gorgeous at freaking 6 in the morning?  I swear only my girlfriend can manage that. I can't believe she said yes.

I really wasn't expecting her to reciprocate my feelings... I thought she'd get all mad and ignore me more.. but she said yes!.

'Hey, Lexi... morning.. ' I said, stifling a yawn. How did she manage to open the balcony door? Never mind, I didn't want to know.

'Jay?  You up yet?  Dude, we have to leave in like 20 minutes!  Get up already!! ' Diana yelled from her bedroom, which is just opposite mine.

I chuckled, grabbed my bag and headed out.

'Jay.. you've gotta get up no-' she started to yell again but stopped when she noticed me standing at her doorway, showered and all.

'You.. but.. I...Jay? OMG!!  You're freaking up?  Woah... ' she said, obviously surprised.

I just smirked and said 'Come on, sis.. I need that breakfast.. '

'So, when are we gonna tell her? 'Lexi asks me as we walk towards the  English classroom for the last class of the day.

' I don't know Alex... I thought we could tell her in the car this morning, or at lunch..  but I just couldn't.. I don't know why... It's not even like she won't get over it... it's just that I'm scared that she won't be happy that her sort -of -player twin is dating her best friend... '

'Awww, Jay... you know even if she does get mad ... she can't ignore you for long.. I mean, seriously.. you guys are twins.. but me?  Well she can drop me like a hot potato and find another best friend.. God, Jace it's killing me... I can't even tell my best friend that I'm dating her twin... '

I took her hand and said 'Hey.. chill.. we'll tell her soon . Ok? And no one will ever replace you.. You know how much you mean to each other.. You've been there through every crush of her's.. ok, maybe she never reacted like she does with Ash, but still.. remember when she liked Tim Day?

She was heartbroken when he refused to share his chocolate and play pretend. Then remember when Joe Fields moved away? She would have stayed locked up in her room all upset if you hadn't been there... my point is Lexi, you've been there for each other through every silly, little thing.. so why wouldn't she back you up when you're dating me,her twin and your other best friend? '

She sighed and said ' The faster we tell her the better, Jay....the faster the better... '

The bell rang signifying the end of school.. Yes! Finally! In all my enthusiasm I grabbed Lexi by the hand and dragged her outside.

'Woah.. what's with the enthusiasm, Jay? ' she asked with a cute confused expression.

'School is over! ' I sang.

'Damn.. I'm becoming like a girl... Scratch that, I feel girly. ' I added.
