Chapter 11

Alex's P.O.V

"It's a little too late for you to come back, say it's just a mistake think I'll forgive you like that, "

'Alex.. ' I heard Jay call me sternly.

I stopped singing and turned to look at him, hand on the wheel, and gave him a questioning look.

He sighed and said 'Stop singing that, she will forgive you. It's not like you guys had a "bro code " or something. She never told you that you  can't date me. '

'The song wasn't in reference to the situation Jay. I have no idea what you were talking about.. ' I said and nervously laughed.

Jay just rolled his eyes and said 'Right then Cherry, it's 6:50.Wanna get out of the car and start walking? '

I nodded and got out of the car.

We walked hand-in-hand till we reached the bridge. That was when I had a mini-panic attack.

'Jay I don't think I can do this... ' I said.

'Alex,come on.. it's just Andrew and I'll be with you through it all.' Jay said, pulling me into a hug.

'Now can we go? ' he asked me.

I nodded and we started to cross the bridge.

As we reached the other end I marvelled at the sight. The water glinted with a golden glow, the leaves were strewn everywhere , all added to the beauty of this untouched place.

I turned to look at Jay and my breath caught in my throat. The golden rays of the sun fell on his brown hair adding golden highlights to it. His green eyes radiated warmth, comfort and love. He caught me staring and smiled, showing off his gorgeous dimples.

Damn.

I blushed and smiled back. He then took my hand and pulled me over to one of the boulders sitting lazily by the water.

We sat there hand-in-hand as we waited for Andrew to come.

I heard a rustle of leaves being stepped on and turned around.

Andrew had arrived. Damn, here we go Alex... it's now or never.. it's fight or flight...

'Hey Andrew... ' I called out, and Jay turned around.

'Hey... guys... 'she said and walked closer. She crossed her arms over her chest and began to tap one foot pointedly as she gave us an uncomfortable look.

'Talk. Now. Since when have you being going out behind my back, huh?' she said, sounding very pissed off.

'Oh god, no Andrew! We only started going out yesterday night! 'I literally squeaked.

She raised an eyebrow and said 'Oh yeah? But that's not what Ariana said! She said that you'd been dating for quite a while now. She even seemed to think Jay was cheating on her! '

'THAT LITTLE BIT-' I began to yell as Jay clamped a hand over my mouth and sighed.

'Diana.. you know how Ariana is.She's just trying to make trouble. Lexi and I only started dating last night..We wanted to tell you this morning or at lunch or something but I just couldn't.. and before we could even tell you, that ...... Ariana overheard our conversation and told Ryan who I'm guessing told you... But please, you should know how horrid Alex was feeling.. she wouldn't stop rambling for like an hour after we spoke to that Ariana........ ' he continued rambling and I turned to look at Diana who looked like she was choking.
