A FEW MONTHS LATER....
'ANDREW!! Are you done? Seriously? How long does it take to pull on a damn dress? ' I yelled.
It was the day. We were finally Graduating! We'd spent the past few months slogging and studying. It had all payed off.
Inspite of all that Jay and I are still going strong. The past few months had felt just magical.
Andrew finally walked out of my bathroom in the white dress that she'd bought a couple of months ago. She'd never worn it, so we decided it was a perfect opportunity.
I was wearing something similar in pale blue. After I'd finished her makeup we walked downstairs where Mum,Dad, Isabel, Tom, Jay and Ashton were waiting for us.
Ash and Diana were so love struck it was kinda funny. They had taken a break for a month or two but were now back together, I hope for good.
We clicked a couple of group pictures before my mum pulled me and Jay aside and took pictures of us. Everyone was staring at us and giving us these weird smiles.
Okay. What was that about?
We finally piled up into our cars and
started for school.
The ceremony began and the valedictorian, surprise surprise Liz made an amazing speech that made me cry.
Then I expected the movie like throwing of the graduation cap thingies. But unfortunately, that didn't happen.
After the speech I walked over to where Liz, Marcus, Ash, Diana, Aubrey and Ryan were standing.
I couldn't help but notice Jay was missing.
'We did it guys! ' I squealed.
They all smiled and agreed, though they didn't say much. In fact they hadn't said much the entire day.
I turned to Marcus
'Hey Marc have you seen Jay? I can't really find hi-'
'Oh there you are Alex, I was searching for you! ' I heard someone say.
It wasn't Jay though. It was Trevor Ryan's current boyfriend.
'Hey Trev... What's u- huh?' I said confused as he dragged me towards the stage. I looked back at everyone and they all gave me knowing smiles. What is with my friends and family and those smiles?
I was pushed onto stage and I looked around completely confused. What was happening here.
This was way awkward. First I couldn't find Jay. Then my friends barely talk to me.Then Trevor drags me to the stage and leaves me there.
What on earth was happening here?
Just when I reached the peaks of my confusion, I heard someone playing the guitar on a mic. The song was achingly familiar.
Just when I thought I couldn't figure it out I saw Jay playing as he walked towards me and he began to sing -
Forever can never be long enough for me
To feel like I've had long enough with you
Forget the world now, we won't let them see
But there's one thing left to do
Now that the weight has lifted
Love has surely shifted my way
Marry me
Today and every day
Marry me
