I slammed the door of my best friend's jeep behind me. "Charlie, when are you going to get rid of this crappy old jeep!"

I saw a pair of brown eyes and a head of black hair pop out on the other side of the car. "Never! I will never get rid of my baby navy blue!"

I fixed my dirty blond hair in the car's mirror, "Charlie, look where we are."

She looked around at the passing cars, "We're on a highway."

"We could be hit! We could end up spattered on the windshield of a car!" I exaggerated.

"Blake don't be silly, the worst that can happen is death." Charlie opened the trunk. "Is Mandy going to sit in the car, or help me?"

I looked through the jeep's window. There was Mandy, sitting in the car with her head down, facing the screen of her iPhone. "I think she's busy." I got down on my hands and knees, Today was not a good day to wear my white shorts. But then again it does match my anchor shirt and my anchor necklace. I thought to myself.

"Blake," Charlie said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

She pulled out this long metal stick thingy. "What's that for?"

"It's to lift the car up." Charlie told me.

She carries around a car lifting thingy...how many times has she gotten a flat tire?

She lifted the extra tire out of the trunk, "Blake, hold this."

I got back up and held the tire in place. "How long will this take? We need to get to Six Flags before it's so crowded it looks like an infested forest of Mosquitos!"

Charlie chuckled. I sighed, this was going to take awhile.

"Awww, brighten those blue green eyes of yours. I'm done, no thanks to you or Mandy." Charlie got up and wiped the dirt off her knees.

I looked at her, Wait, it's been like five minutes. I thought, How did she have time to do that?

"Close your mouth before a bug flies in Blake."Charlie climbed into the front seat.

"How many times have you gotten a flat tire?" I asked when I was back in the car.

"You mean this month? Um, three, give or take a few." She merged back on to the highway.

I'm going to fucking die in this jeep. I thought uneasily.

"Hey, why did we stop?" Mandy asked, looking up from her phone.

"We had a flat tire." I told her.

"Again? Charlie this is the third time I've been in your car when you had a flat tire!" Mandy yelled in a non-serious way.

"I don't know, maybe you're bad luck?" Charlie joked.

I shook my head and turned on the radio. Demi Lovato started playing, "Everyone, shut the fuck up!" Charlie and Mandy looked at me, "What? This is my jam."

Twenty minutes of attempting to dance with a belt on and belting out song lyrics full of voice cracks later, we pulled into the parking lot of Six Flags.

"Finally! Hurry up people!" I yelled. I grabbed my bag, which had a tiny sailboat on it, and my sunglasses. Because, lets be honest, you can't go anywhere without sunglasses.

Mandy and Charlie hurried behind me to catch up. "Blake, slow down would yah?" I heard Mandy whine behind me.

I slowed my pace down. I heard the sound of flip flops slapping the ground behind me. "Why are you in such a rush?" Charlie asked.

"I don't know, I just feel like something great is going to happen today." I breathed and smiled.

I don't know why I was feeling this way because so far nothing had gone right today. We had a flat tire, my white shorts are dirty, and half of the music on my iPhone was deleted, I don't know how it happened, but it did. But this park gave me a weird feeling in my stomach. Maybe it was because I had a big breakfast and might barf on everyone around me, but I'm pretty sure it's for some other reason. Well, at least I hope it is.

Charlie, Mandy, and I stood in line for the tickets to get in.

"Oooo look at that guy over there. Nice arms." Mandy whispered to Charlie.

Charlie had the look of disgust on her face and mumbled, "Rather date my jeep."

"Oh come on Charlie, look at his face!" Mandy pulled on Charlie's bag.

"He hasn't even turned arou-" Charlie stopped talking and gave Mandy the, I-Told-Yah-So look she was known for.

Mandy crinkled her nose, "Never mind."

I laughed and looked at the bird nosed guy standing across the way. Those two were definitely a pair.

"How many?" The ticket girl asked.

"Uh, three." I answered. Charlie and Mandy took out their money. "Guys, my treat, remember?"

Charlie smiled, "So if I fill up Baby Blue's tank on the way home is it still your treat?" She joked.

I handed the girl the money and took the three tickets. We stepped into the park.

Today was going to be exciting. Today was going to be a great day.
