"Blake! Let's go on that ride first!" Charlie pointed to a ride called the ThunderBolt.

I looked at the high drops and the shaky wooden frame. "Um, yeah."

She grabbed my hand and ran towards the ride. Oh this should be fun. I thought to myself.

The three of us stood on line and waited for five minutes. Finally it was our turn to get on the ride, it was two seats per section. I guess that's why you don't go to amusements parks with an odd amount of people.

I sat next to Charlie, Mandy sat behind us. I made sure that my seat belt was securely closed.

"Oh, this is going to be so fun! When I went here for camp, this was my favorite ride!" Charlie said excitedly.

I nodded and clasped my hands firmly around the pole in front of me. I'm not so good with high land rides. High water rides are a different story.

"Guys it's starting!" Mandy shook my shoulder.

The ride lurched into life and started climbing up the mountainous slope. Oh no, I thought, extending the 'o' in 'oh'.

Charlie placed her hands in the air. While I just gripped the pole more tightly. Any higher and I'd probably turn into the Hulk and snap this pole in two.

Then, we dropped. After that, the ride was sort of just a blur, I don't remember any of it. Well I do remember someone screaming like a little girl. But, that noise probably came from me and no one else.

"That was so fun! We have to go on it again!" Mandy jumped up and down. Charlie nodded her head up and down like a bobble head doll.

"Uh, can we go on something else?" I asked.

"I'm sorry, what?" Mandy said, "I couldn't hear you. Sorry, you see this tall, skinny, dirty blond hair, and blue/green eyed girl was screaming the entire time and I think she blew out one of my ear drums."

I smiled, "Ha. Ha. Ha. Very funny." I said sarcastically. I looked around at the rides towering over us. I spotted a familiar green ride. "Lets go on that Zero Gravity thing!"

Charlie widened her eyes, "You have to be insane to think I'm going on that death trap! Out of your mind! You think that I'm going to risk my life on that thing? And if I'd died, I'd die in the worst way possibly! I'd die as a pancake peeling off a wall and then falling to my pancakes doomed death!"

I honestly had no idea what she had just said. "I'll make you go on then!"

"How? Are you going to compel me like a vampire?" Charlie sassed.

I shook my head, "Fine, just wait for us then." We all ran over the the gate.

Charlie whispered, "Don't die," then walked away and sat on a bench.

"Don't mind Charlie and her weird pancake theories." Mandy said as she stepped forward.

I got on to the circular ride and found a spot. "Ready?" I asked Mandy who was standing next to me.

She nodded and put her hands ups.

I'm okay on spinning rides, just not so good on high rides.

The ride started and I felt myself sticking to the wall. I tried peeling my head off of it, but didn't succeed. I had a big smile on my face and could hear Mandy screaming next to me.

The ride unfortunately had to end. We walked over to the bench Charlie was sitting on.

"You guys made it!" She ran up to us and threw our bags at us. "I've been looking around and thought we should go on that ride." She pointed at something.

"What? I don't see anything," I said looking straight ahead from where she was pointing.

"That's because you're looking too low." She tilted my head up.

Oh fuck. Not another one of those rides. I gulped and sucked it in, "Okay."

A few minutes later I was standing behind Mandy and Charlie. They got on the ride and sat together. I guess I was stuck by myself on this death trap.

I buckled myself in and was about to pull down on the lap bar, but then I heard a girl's voice say, "Wait!"

I looked up and saw a head of brown hair. She ran up to my seat, "Sorry, is anyone sitting here?"

I shook my head for no. Too stunned to speak. Let me explain, I'm bisexual. There, simple as that. And this girl was definitely spiking up my bi-dar.

She climbed in next to me and smiled. "I'm Jessie, sorry if I'm intruding." She clipped herself in and pulled down the lap bar.

"I'm, uh, I'm, uh," I stuttered.

"Blake." Charlie intervened.

"Yeah, I'm Blake and no, you aren't intruding."

The ride started. Oh no, Blake please don't make an embarrassment of yourself. I pleaded to myself. The ride started going up. Then, after what had felt like forever, it dropped.

All I could remember was me screaming like I was being murdered.
