He held her there in his hands with one in a threatening position around her throat. Caroline's hands reached up automatically and started to claw at his wrists.

"Stefan! How lovely to see you, I was just telling your friend here about our little secret."

"klaus what are you doing let her go!" I tried to get into the house but an invisible barrier stopped me. I hissed in disgust, "klaus let her go!"

Caroline started making choking noises with the death grip she was in.

"no can do mate, see Caroline here knows a little too much information and since she still has vervain in her system I can compel her yet," he explained, "so i will have to do it later, goodbye." he closed the door before I could say anything.

I sighed in defeat and started to make my way home.

Caroline's pov

He let go of my neck and lightly pulled me away from the door.

"if you try to tell anyone about this, I will personally rip out all of your friends spine." he said humorously.

"why don't you just do yourself a favour and kill me now?" I spat out holding my fragile throat in my hands.

He looked confused for a moment, "I don't know." he brows were furrowed, "but if you cross me, we will put this whole theory to test."

I glared at him will total disgust while he just stood there looking at me with innocent eyes. He snapped out of his daze and grabbed his coat which was lying on the couch.

"i need to go out," he made his was to the door and laughed, " don't go anywhere." he mocked.

I huffed and sat on the couch as I heard the door slam shut.

Hours passed while I just sat watching mindless tv. The door swung open instead of the klaus I was expecting, a tall women with black hair strolled through the door with her head held high.

"who are you?" I questioned.

"I am celeste," she said, "and you are Caroline Forbes."

"what do you want?"

"I believe you can help me and my friends."

Just then 3 other women walked in. They all had concentrated faces on as they studied me carefully.

"we are witches." she smirked, "and we are the only thing that can help you."

"and how is that exactly?" I asked irritated.

" your going to kill klaus."

I laughed, " I can't Kill klaus! He's a vampire and I'm just a human!"

She smiled sickly," we'll that Caroline, is where your wrong."

Just then two of the women grabbed me and held me down to the floor.

"sorry Caroline, this is only going to hurt a bit."

All of the witches started chanting words in another language, it took ten seconds for the agonising pain to kick in.
