Chapter 14(Four)

Me and Tris are the same. We both were put in abused and we both come out with emotions that can't be described. Sometimes those emotions are tested and we come on out and protect the ones we still have left or we shut down and leave them. I'm surprised she told us though. No one knows what dad did to me and I don't think I was gonna tell anyone. That was until Tris told her story. I can tell she doesn't want the pity. I wished I was brave like her, but I'm just a coward to afraid to lose the people I have now. I see Tris walk out and into the kitchen. They all look at me, even Christina, and all of them curious on my reaction. I sigh and start talking to them.

"Look I'm not happy in the slightest way she got abused, but I'm proud of her going through it because that just shows her strength even more. I don't know what you expect from me so tell me now or forever be in silence." 

Now they just look annoyed at me. Great I'm gonna be killed. 

"You don't see it do you. She was looking at you and only you. She needs you Four and I know you need her. She just more then a mate and you know it. I recommend talking to her and get that girl before it's too late." Zeke explained

I look at Christina and she just nods. I guess she knows now too. I need to get Tris before I lose her forever. I need her and I accept this and I want her. 

"I want her and I really like her. I'm just not sure how she will react on me wanting her like that. She might just view me as a brother. I might have kissed her and her to me but if I tell her now this would just be adding to the mess up life she has. Don't get me wrong I know without this life she would be different and I don't want her different. She deserves someone better though and I'm not perfect..."

"Look Four, my girl isn't looking for prince charming. She just wants someone who won't pity her and take advantage of her. I never seen her this happy until she met you. I want you to know she has seen you and she still wants you by the way she talks about you. She likes you too and if you don't tell her she will just doubt herself. Take a risk and then we will see what will happen next"...."Wait WHAT!!!" "You guys kissed and I wasn't told about this. There will be repercussion for not telling me. "

I just laughed at this and start walking toward the kitchen. I look back and they all put thumbs up and I rolled my eyes. I take a deep breath and walk into the kitchen. I see Tris looking out the window and she looks at peace. 

"Hey how are you feeling?" 

"Do you need answer to that now because I don't know" 

I chuckle at that. "I don't need an answer but it's recommended to give one."

She cracked a grin at me. I smiled right back at her. She walked right up to me, head to my chest, and hugged me. She nuzzle her head into my chest and I almost purred. I'm a werewolf don't judge. I hugged her backed.

"Do you think I could of done better?" she whispered

"What do you mean?"

 "It was my fault that my mom went out to celebrate some stupid birthday. If she didn't leave, she could still be here."

"It isn't your fault "

"I should have though move on and helped him"

"Maybe. Maybe there's more we all could have done, but we just have to let the guilt remind us to do better next time." I said

We stayed silent for a long time until I hear her breathing even out. She starts to slump and I picked her up and took her to my room. I kissed her on the forehead. 

"Sweet dreams, mate."

"I love you"
