Tuesday soon dawned, and Gracie had just about enough of the entire organisation.

Ever since the dispute between Gracie and Harry sparked, he was nowhere to be seen.

Because of this, the two hadn't come in contact ever since, and apparently it was still crucial she finish the evaluation regardless.

It seems like the council had clung onto this very fact, and began to ambush her at any given point in time for a surprise test.

She could be going back to her room, and all of the sudden agents would run at her, fists ready.

Maybe taking the elevator for her daily swim, and all off the sudden it shuts down, leaving her to bang on the door furiously.

Perhaps, she'd be leaving for her daily routine and be locked inside of her house.

She didn't have any qualms against the last, but it raises the point that it was starting to get surreal and outright ridiculous.

She prayed to whatever holy being there is that maybe Harry had enough compassion to tell the council to stop their toying for today.

She had already prepared for today, with her phone's location jumping every one second and her sling bag with her laptop readily available should she need it, alongside some other gadgets she may or may not have snatched from the lab Will showed her. Alongside, was a plain white mask with only two holes in place of her eyes to allow vision. She had noticed the item lying suspiciously on her bed when she had arrived back in her room, but had yet to conclude the origin of it.

She was sporting her signature maroon hoodie, a white short sleeved shirt, baggy track pants and sneakers, alongside her hair pinned and tied up, her attire meticulously picked for comfort and agility.

"See you later bug" she coddled the puppy affectionately as the he barked, tail wagging as his tongue lolled out.

She heaved a sigh as she left the house, thankful she wasn't locked in once more before looking around warily in search of anything inconspicuous.

After finding nothing, she speedily walked to the elevator and jammed the button several times rapidly, glancing up every so often until the elevator finally closed shut.

She was confident she looked like a paranoid burglar at this point with the way she snapped her head at every insignificant movement or noise.

Finally, she allowed a large grin to break loose as she stepped out of the museum, the wind blowing and caressing her skin whilst her hair bun bounced with every little step she took.

It wasn't long before she broke into a sprint. She was lucky the meet up area was just a small, unknown cafe to most. She'd pass by it multiple times during her runs and clearly recalled some potential hiding corners.

Not to her surprise nor dismay, the cafe was found to be empty, save for two men. She quickly swerved into an alleyway before they could spot her, before peeking out from the corner.

They were wearing long jeans and thick coats, alongside combat boots, glancing around every now and then. It didn't take a genius to know that they were on the lookout and they were well prepared.

The smaller, familiar male was trapped in a loop of glancing at his phone, before scrutinising his surroundings once more whilst the larger male had one hand tensed on his coat as his head went in circles.

Talk about subtlety.

She took out her phone to text, 'hey, I'm so sorry but I have to cancel out on you. My dog just got really sick and I'm bringing him to the vet now'
