Gracie mustered a fuming glare directed at the padded white wall opposite her, silently cursing her luck as she mulled in boredom. Shortly after Sebastians' temper tantrum, he took it upon himself to tie the female with a rope by the hands, releasing her from the chain before hauling her by the scruff of her hoodie and tossing her into a padded white cell.

Hence so far, her day was absolutely dandy.

She knew for a fact that going days without human contact was an easy feat for her, considering when she was a child, she used to lock herself in her room whenever she got upset, striving off her large stash of water bottles and food in her room. It was only when her brother has had enough of her childish behavior, did he barge into her room and drag her out to resolve the issue.

However with this in mind, that would mean that the duration of her stay would most likely drag on. While she was resistant to isolation, she wasn't invincible. Albeit it would take much longer than it would for an average person, she will eventually cave, and everyone, especially the vile duo watching her, knew this.

She was, after all, human.

"Jesus fuck, I'm not going to go mad from being isolated. I'm going to lose my mind from boredom," she groaned aloud, whining at the little camera installed in the corners of the cell.

She examined the room, finding it eerily similar to that of a cell in a psychiatric ward. The white was blinding, and the only colour present belonged to her articles of clothing and skin. There didn't seem to be any ventilation, but the temperature of the room told her otherwise. It wasn't freezing cold as the weather was, but it was enough for her shiver nonetheless.

Her eyes constantly found its way back to the red dots in the corners of the room, blinking rhythmically, before returning to where they were once scanning. The room seemed to only have the door as her only option of exit, but the main issue was that there wasn't a handle or knob and it was locked.

She wondered if this was strictly for mental deterioration, or did it act as some twisted form of a time out room. Was that what this was for her to them?  A timeout? To spook her a little?

The mere thought revolted her, and yet she didn't completely dismiss the possibility. As she was about to delve deeper, she quickly decided against it, ending the rapidly forming thoughts with a screeching halt. She was only going to mentally wear herself down with more thinking and instead turned to settle herself in a corner of the room, throwing herself backward, her back landing harshly on the cushioned floor.

What she actually needed now was some rest to recover from the overexertion her body had to push through. She motioned to the cameras, signing for food and water with an unamused frown, before turning to face the wall and curling up.

Closing her eyes, she evened her breathing, trying to wipe away all thoughts and leave a barren mind to help her sleep.

She couldn't fathom how long it had taken her, but she had finally managed to fall into a light slumber, allowing the pair to rejoice.

"She's asleep now, right?"

Max nodded in affirmation after watching the even pace of her chest rising and falling.

"Only took 3 hours" grumbled Sebastian as he picked up two syringes that had been laying idly beside him on the desk.

Sebastian hummed, heading to the kitchen to grab some food and water for the female first, leaving Sebastian to go on ahead without him.

The moment the door beeped open, Gracie was jolted awake, albeit slightly disorientated, but awake nonetheless.

She listened intently for the soft steps approaching her, resisting the urge to stiffen or zip away, but failed to do the former once she was shielded from the light, the shadow of a man casting over her figure.
