''Everyone, it's time to pack our things cause we're going home,'' I say with a huge smile while I walk into the room with Murphy. They just look at Murphy and me with frowning faces. That's when I remember that I didn't even tell them what is happening. What Murphy and I saw. I just thought that they would have seen it as well since there's always at least one of us looking out of the window just in case.

"There's another ship in space and if we can contact them then maybe they can help us get out of this hellhole. So like I said, go pack your things.''
I was about to walk away to go to my room but Raven stops me.

''Wait, we don't know who they are. We should contact them first and then pack our things. We shouldn't get our hopes up too much,'' she says.
She's right. I know she's right. But I just want to get out of here, that's all. I've been here way too long now.

Spending my whole life on the ark and then suddenly going to the ground was the best thing that has ever happened to me. A lot of things happened on the ground. Bad things. But good things as well and I would't want to trade it for anything else. I also want to go back so badly because I want to see if the people on the ground survived. I hope so.

I don't know what I would do if we would go back to earth and everyone we knew would be dead. We didn't know if the bunker was safe but we still used it. At least, the ones who are in there are the moment. The rest of us is here, on the ark. And then there is Clarke. Dead, or alive on the ground, on her own.

I'm sitting on the couch we put in this room. Lincoln's head is laying on my lap while he's sleeping. The rest is staring out of the window to see the spaceship. I'm getting really bored. Raven said that we should contact them first so that's what we did but they didn't respond. But she doesn't give up seeing as she is still trying to get someone to response.

''It's been two and a half hours,'' Murphy says while he turns away form the window and looks at Raven,''Why, exactly, are we sitting here in the dark? We should light op the ring, let them know we're here.

''Quiet Murphy,'' Bellamy says not daring to look away from the window,'' first we find out who they are, and then we ask them for help.''
I wanted to say something but decide to keep my mouth shut. I don't want to wake up Lincoln. and everyone is in a crappy mood because nothing is happening and I don't want to anger someone even more because of my remarks.

''Nothing, radio sounds. Their comms might be disabled or the ship could unmanned,'' Raven says while trying so hard to get the people on that ship to talk back. She was right about waiting for a response. If we didn't wait, then I would be sitting here on the couch with all my stuff around me ready to leave. And I would be devastated because we can't leave since no one is reacting.

''Or it's manned by aliens-''
''Murphy shut your mouth for once,'' I quickly say. I don't want to hear any of his nonsense. I just want to get out of this place. It's making me go crazy to be honest. I don't want to stay here any longer and I don't think the others want to stay here any longer as well.

I stroke my hand over Lincoln's dark hair and he just continues to sleep while we are all freaking out a little bit. I'm not even listening to Murphy and Bellamy bickering anymore. Listening to them fighting like two little girls is just wasting my time.

''Look! something's happening,'' Harper suddenly says while she almost presses her face against the window. She must be really exited. I already lost hope since it's taking so damn long and no one is responding to Raven on the radio. As much as I want to go back home, I don't think it's going to happen. Having to wait for such a long time has really brought my spirits and hope down.

''Another drop ship. That must be a transport. It's headed for the ground,'' someone says.
I'm just staring at Lincoln hoping that one day he will get to experience the ground. The beautiful things there. But just the beautiful side. Not the horrible side. But I also know that if he gets on the ground one day he will not be able to avoid the dark side of earth.

''Mayday, mayday. I am hailing the drop ship now on re-entry to earth. We are stranded aboard the space station to your west. Please respond.''
No one responses. Just like I had expected. But Raven tries again. And again, no answers.

''Oh whatever. Just go pack your things. We are going to get on that ship and try to get on a drop ship as well. I can't stay here any longer,'' Emori says while standing up from besides Raven. A second after she says that everyone hurries to their rooms to grab what they want or need to take with them. I just keep sitting on the couch with Lincoln.

It's funny how everyone looked at me so weird when I came into the room with this big new so happy. So happy and so full of hope. And after two and a half hours that's just all gone. I think that having spent six years in here has really changed my mood.

Suddenly someone sits next to me and an arm is put around my waist. There's only one person who would do that and the rest wouldn't even dare to touch me in such a way. I sink into his touch and put my head on his chest.

''We're really leaving then, huh? Or at least, we're trying to,'' I whisper still not wanting to wake Lincoln up. Even though he's six, he still needs his sleep otherwise he will be a bit cranky and that's never fun.

''Yep. I'm glad though. We can finally see what has become of our home. We can see Octavia again. And Clarke. And Lincoln finally gets to meet his family,'' Bellamy whispers back.
I sigh and smile. He's right. I shouldn't be so hopeless at the moment. Once we get down I will be able to see my friends and family again and everyone can finally see our son. Octavia will freak our knowing that she is going to be called auntie. And she's going to freak out when she realizes that he is named Lincoln.

''Let's wake the little boy up so that we can go pack a few more things we want to take with us. And then we're going to that ship and we're going home.''
I shake Lincoln a little bit and he slowly wakes up. He rubs in his eyes and looks at us waiting for an answer as to why we woke him up.

''Come on, we're going to our room and we're going to grab our things. We're going home Lincoln. To earth. Where your family is,'' I tell him with a little smile on my face. I still can't believe that after six years we are finally going back home. I could never call the Ark my home. But earth wasn't that hard to call it that.

Lincoln immediately jumps up from the couch with a huge smile on his face and he darts towards our room to grab his things. Bellamy laughs lowly and I look at him. He looks back at me and slowly leans in.

''No, there is no time for that! We need to grab our things!'' Lincoln yells when he runs back. He takes my hand and Bellamy's and tries to pull us up from the couch but he isn't that strong. But Bellamy and I stand up anyway and let us be dragged away by Lincoln. At least someone is exited. I laugh and quickly place a kiss on Bellamy's lips without Lincoln noticing.
