Once I got home, I could've been swapped out for a dead body and no one would've known.. I did NOT want to do any sort of work the rest of the day. Not even the boring, hard, plain homework..
What was the point of having so much homework anyway? It's not like we'll use any of the information they tell us in class in real life.. Except math. But it's not like I'll use any of the other stuff.. My parents don't even remember half the stuff they give us! So whats the point?
Anyways, after my little one on one session, I end up forcing myself to finish some of my homework. I can just finish the rest later. I then decide to start training the quarterback..
I slowly open the round pen, leaving it slightly cracked open, I creep towards her with a furry, red saddle-pad. She looks at me then down towards the saddle-pad, I think I've fooled her. She doesn't suspect a thing-. FOOM CHING CHANG with one gallant stride she fly's by me like a bullet aimed right next to me. She knocked me on my butt. I turn back slowly to see her taunting me like a filly.. Swishing her tail in my face, nibbling at the grass.
Lesson learned. She's smart.
.... "This is definitely going to be a challenge!" I say slowly getting up, wiping the dirt off my pants.
"Pony!" yells Katie from the other side of the barn.
I roll my eyes, walking towards her..
"Geez! Your dirty!! Did you get in a fight with the ground or something?" She said bursting into laughter. I gave her an evil stare then walked back up the rusty old ladder, creaking every step of the way.
