“Comfortable?” A gentle voice whispered, Charles stirred and opened his eyes. He naturally flinched from seeing Raven literally leaning down and looking at him with a smirk. He rubbed his eyes and peeked out from behind his hand. It wasn't until he realized there was a weight in his lap that he fully started to catch on to what Raven was on about.

Margo had seemingly stretched out, she had taken to holding tightly onto a cushion, whereas her legs had stretched out and found themselves in his lap.

“Oh,” was the slow reply which Charles gave. Truthfully he couldn't remember drifting off. He distinctly remembered putting the throw over Margo, and then settling back and flicking through the books she had been previously reading. The book which he had decided to look through still sat on the arm of the sofa beside him.

Raven just raised an eyebrow at him and continued to smirk. “Indeed,” she stood up and crossed her arms loosely over her dark dress. “Need help?” She asked when she watched the thoughtful expression flit across his face. He was trying to figure out how to move Margo's legs without actually waking her up.

“You know what? It's fine. I don't need to move...for a while,” he trailed off thoughtfully and fidgeted on the sofa. He watched as Raven gave a shrug and moved over to the chair. “Where have you been?” He asked with a light frown. As far as he could tell Margo had been on her own for quite some time earlier on. If she hadn't been then he was rather sure she wouldn't have resulted to reading.

“Out.” Raven threw her legs over the arm of the chair and settled back against the cushions. Charles looked at her blankly. “What? It's the truth, I’ve been out.”

“Well I know that, last time I knew you couldn't become intangible.” He said while leaning his head against his hand and looking over at her. Though the thought of an invisible Raven lurking about the apartment did cause him to frown lightly, it was a rather unsettling thought.

“It gets stuffy in here. I think if I stayed inside for much longer I’d end up suffering from cabin fever.” Raven took to inspecting her nails.

There was a quiet noise from Margo, it sort of sounded like a laugh. She looked over her shoulder, though still sleepy looking she looked to Raven. “May I agree with the cabin fever?” She smiled and slowly sat up. “Oh, sorry,” she said while pulling her legs off of the lap they found themselves in. Charles merely smiled and gave a nod. With freedom he managed to stretch his legs out and recline more against the sofa.

“Can we not start this again?” He frowned. The want to be outside was becoming repetitive. It seemed no matter what he said, they'd still both team up to bring the subject back up. “You go out, whether with me or not. And you now have free reign of the roof. You're not locked up in here. Cabin fever would suggest being locked away somewhere with no sign of freedom.” He sighed and sent a rather apologetic look Margo's way, she'd know what cabin fever felt like for sure.

“Is it still raining?” Margo asked lightly while looking to Raven.

“No, thankfully. Though it's cold and damp out there now.” Margo's eyes narrowed thoughtfully while she looked to the window. “Why?” Raven leant forwards in the chair, she smiled at her curiously.

“Yes, why?” Charles joined in while standing up and moving away to the kitchen area. It seemed he had been asleep longer than he thought, as such he found hunger niggling away at him.

“It's safer outside for me when it's dark, and because you have nothing else to do you can keep an eye on Raven, which is something you seem to think needs to happen.” Margo said, it was safer outside when it was dark, she doubted anyone would be on high alert for her. “I'm suggesting going out.”

“Yes!” Raven exclaimed happily.

“No,” Charles turned and looked at the two females, they were both smiling widely.

“Oh come on, stop being boring,” Raven waved a hand at him and stood up, she walked over to the sofa and held her hands out. Margo simply put her hands in the ones offered to her and got tugged to a stand.

“It's not about being boring,” Charles ran a hand through his hair which was now fully dry from his experiences earlier on.

“It's about being cautious.” Raven said dully. Beside her Margo scrunched her nose up clearly disagreeing. It was already clear caution and her didn't go hand in hand.

“Exactly!” Charles said exasperated while waving a hand at the two. “You call it boring, I call it caution. Slipping up in public could have lord only knows what repercussions, it doesn't even bear thinking about.” He paused to cross his arms, Raven and Margo just still stood looking at him simply. “I am responsible for you both, and as such – in fear of being labelled boring – it means keeping you both out of things and places which could cause a slip up.”

Raven and Margo exchanged a look, suddenly a look flitted onto Raven's face as she leant close and whispered something to Margo. She seemed to nod slowly and then smile. “You need a break.”

“You do, you have all this worrying, and all this work...you'll run yourself down.”

“Then what use would you be?”

“Run down and exhausted will allow us to go about our business, or at least the business we want to go about.”

“Perhaps go shopping again?”

“Which is an ideal way I’d like to spend my time.” Raven confirmed while smiling widely and looking to Margo, she grinned and gave a firm nod. The two looked back to Charles who honestly looked at a loss with having both females discuss him while he was in the same room as them.

“Get your coats,” he said while turning and walking towards the door, his coat from earlier on was still discarded nearby. Letting out childish excited noises they both went in search for their coats. Soon they appeared by his side pulling them on and doing them up. Charles looked at them both squarely before rolling his eyes. He'd never been badgered so much before. “If the slightest thing happens, we're coming back.”

“Sure, sounds good.” Raven nodded while linking her arm with Margo's.

“Can't disagree with you there.” She smiled and continued walking along the corridor towards the exit.
