Upon entering the other room, Charles walked over to the cabinet and commence pouring himself a drink. It wasn't until he looked down into it that he realized that it was empty. “So you're saying they took Raven's power and what, they weaponized it?” Charles asked while putting the stopper on the bottle and turning to look at Hank and Logan, seems they had conversed enough to completely forget introductions, that and how they met exchanging names seemed a little lost, regardless eventually Logan did state his name. Introductions still seemed a little lost though, even more so when he clearly already knew of them, not Margo though, she was new to him.

“Yup,” Logan replied while watching as Charles moved away and sat down on the sofa which was in another part of the room. Himself and Hank were seated near the desk, the only other seats were in front of a chess table. One seat Margo sat in playing with one of the pieces. For the most part it didn't seem to appear that she was paying attention, but she was because of the serious look on her face.

“I mean, she is unique.”

“Yeah, she is, Hank.” Charles agreed while finally settling in his seat.

“In the beginning the Sentinels were just targeting mutants, then they began to identify the genetics in non-mutants who'd eventually have mutant children or grandchildren.” Logan began to explain while flicking his gaze sidewards towards Charles. “Many of the humans tried to help us, it was a slaughter. Leaving only the worst of humanity in charge. I’ve been in a lot of wars, I’ve never seen anything like this. And it all starts with her.”

“Well, let's just say that for the sake of...the sake that I choose to believe you, that I choose to help you, Raven won't listen to me.” Charles said with a sigh while rubbing his eyes and looking to Logan. “No, her heart and soul belongs to someone else now.” He said quietly and distantly.

“I know,” Logan said while standing up. “That's why we're going to need Magneto too.”

“Erik?” Hank said sharply while looking at him like he had spoken another language. In the other end of the room Charles had let out a rather dry laugh which turned quickly into a humorous one. “You do know where he is?” Hank asked with a confused expression.

“Yeah.” Logan said slowly.

This if anything caused Charles to just laugh more as he stood from the sofa. He passed Margo and gently placed a hand on her head as he passed. Reaching where Logan was standing he looked at him darkly. “He's where he belongs.” Charles said lowly while walking to the door.

“So that's it, you're just gonna walk out?” Logan turned and looked at him as he retreated.

“Ooh, top marks.” Charles turned with a grin and pointed a finger at him. “Like I said, you are perceptive.” He continued on his way to the stairs while lifting the glass up to drink.

“The Professor I know would never turn his back on someone who lost their path, especially someone he loved.” Logan said seriously, his words faltered Charles as he stood in silence for a few moments before turning and walking back.

“You know, I think I do remember you now. Yeah, we came to you a long time ago seeking your help.” Charles said in a certain tone. “And I’m going to say to you what you said to us then. Fuck off.”

Logan quickly and angrily reached out and grasped onto Charles, “Listen to me you little shit.” Logan said through slightly gritted teeth as he shook Charles, who for the first time looked rather aware with what was happening. “I've come a long way, and I’ve watched a lot of people die, good people, friends. If you want to wallow in self pity and do nothing, then you're gonna watch the same thing, you understand?” Logan slowly let go of Charles who gave the slightest of nods yet started to retreat backwards again.
