“Absolutely nothing, I’ve just frozen him so I can talk to you. Good isn't it? I’m as interested in this Sebastian Shaw as you are, and if you still want my help meet me on the third floor of the parking garage.” Those weren't exactly the words Moira was expecting to hear when she was confronted with her frozen partner. She did look around wide eyed and slightly worried. This is something she wasn't exactly expecting.
Meanwhile, up in the parking garage, the man who had easily saved them from being locked up in a high security cell of some sort was walking alongside Charles, Raven and Margo speedily. “I've always known that there were people like you out there. I’ve been the laughing stock of this agency for years, but I knew it! You're gonna love my facility.” The man said quickly in a rather rambled manner. No one replied to him as they walked down the lines and lines of black shiny smart looking cars.
“That's going to have to wait.” Charles said simply.
“Why?”
“Because Agent MacTaggert has a lead on Sebastian Shaw, and if we don't move now, apparently we're going to lose him.” Charles explained while a little way in front of them a car came to stop.
“What?” The man seemed truly confused.
“Not only can he read minds, he can communicate with them as well.” Raven explained while opening the car door.
“Privacy invasion at its best, but really, such a useful skill.” Margo grinned when she just received an eye rolled look sent her way by Charles. She leant down and got into the car alongside Raven. The two exchanged a look and looked back out of the open door.
“Moira and I have just had a lovely conversation.” Charles said while quickly looking to the woman he named, she was behind the wheel looking around to make sure no one would notice them.
“Yes. We did.” She didn't sound wholly sure.
“That is incredible! But...but I cannot take you anywhere else without permission from upstairs.” The man said while holding his hands up and shaking his head.
“Would you like to see one more magic trick?” Charles asked.
“Sure, ok.”
“Get in the car,” Charles smiled and placed two fingers to his temple and looked to the larger man in front of him.
“Good idea,” came the response seconds later as the two of them climbed into the car too.

Being on the large vessel which was used by the US Coast Guard, Charles stood on one of the balcony parts with numerous people milling about below on deck, and behind him. Frowning lightly he put a finger to his temple and focussed. Sebastian Shaw was on that boat that they were all speeding towards, or at least he believed him to be, he could feel him, and then nothing.
“I've lost Shaw. I’ve lost...I've lost Shaw! The...there's something blocking me. This has never happened to me before! I think there's someone like me on that ship.” He said sounding truly in shock over this whole moment.
“Like you?” Moira questioned.
“Um, I’m sorry. A telepath. This is incredible! I could actually feel her inside my mind. I’m very sorry, but I don't think I’m going to be much help to you tonight. You're on your own.” Charles said seriously while looking around and then back to the ship they were making their way towards. Though sure, he couldn't help but be both frustrated and amazed by this whole moment. He hadn't come across another telepath before today.
“Oh my god,” he said slowly when whipping winds came charging from the boat and lashed out against the small boats which were speeding over the waves. The boats had no defence against such an attack and went careering backwards.
Being instructed to get inside, he stopped on the narrow staircase, Moira looked at him with concern. “There's someone else out there.” He said distantly while turning and opening a door. He walked quickly back up the stairs to where he was just standing. “There,” he pointed to the coiled chains which were attached to the anchor. They were only just visible in the night, if not for the lights and the moon, they could have been easily looked over. The chain and the anchor went charging down on the boat below it. Crashing through the deck, making boards and metal buckle and shoot up from the sudden attack.
“Let go!” Charles shouted when he could see the figure in the water following after something which had detached from the destroyed and suffering ship. “You have to let it go!” Charles leaned over the railing, so far his words were being ignored. Turning and pushing past numerous people, Charles went from one end of the ship to the other, jumping up onto the side he dove into the dark water below.
Reaching out he latched onto the man in front of him. “You can't. You'll drown. You have to let go. I know what this means to you, but you're going to die. Please! Erik, calm your mind.” The submarine got further and further away as Charles managed to haul Erik upwards. Though as soon as they broke the surface, Charles was immediately pushed away.
“No! Get off,” came the short spluttered words thanks to the water splashing against them.
“We're here!” Charles quickly called to the ship he just jumped from.
“Who are you?”
“My name is Charles Xavier.”
“You were in my head! How did you do that?”
“You have your tricks, I have mine. I’m like you. Just calm your mind!” Charles said while struggling slightly against the waves which still hitting against them.
“I thought I was alone.”
“You're not alone, Erik. You're not alone.” Charles smiled while turning to look up at the ship which was coming to collect them.
