"My question is whether or not Tim and Faith, y'all think you two could ever be in a relationship again?" Right i should've expected that. I look over to Tim no doubt with panic in my eyes. He looks as frightened as me. I decide to take the lead.
"Well when you've been through as much as Tim and I have, it's impossible to not be drawn to each other." I say. I mean we are trying to promote a single so we should deny anything. It generates buzz.
"Yeah I agree. We have chemistry that's what makes us Tim and Faith." He seems to catch my drift.
"Thanks y'all!" Says the lady on the phone.
"I find that interesting, I want to touch on that for minute." Says bobby. We've started something now and I just hope he lets it go quickly. "Neither Of you just ruled out getting back together. Do you see yourselves getting back together?" He asks. I took the lead last time so I stay silent hoping Tim will take the lead this time.
"Well when I first discovered what love truly is it was with Faith. She was my first true love, and a lot has happened since then and all but because I haven't found new love or whatever when I think about what that is I still picture Faith. Now I don't want to say that this is out of habit or whatever but I just think that if my feelings towards someone were that strong for so long I don't think I'll ever shake them." Wow.
"That's a great answer." Says bobby, sparing me from commenting. Tim turns to me and gives me a small smile. "Here's it's your love, and we'll be right back with more of your questions for Tim and Faith." He says as our song starts playing. "That was great y'all. People are gonna eat that up!" Says Bobby. "Y'all are professionals at this aren't ya?"
"We've been in the business of making this relationship profitable for us for a good decade." Tim laughs. Oh, and here I was silly enough to think his answer was heartfelt. I need to stop being ridiculous.
"We'll do two from the text machine and then two more callers." Says bobby as the song wraps up. "I cases you missed it, we've got Faith! We've got Tim! It's 1998 all over again in the studio and we are answering all the questions that our listeners have for them. One from the text machine "Tim and Faith, what's the worst part about having to work together?"
"Oh, that's so easy," I say quickly. "He thinks he's not going to be able to hit a note or he thinks what we've just recorded is bad but it's so frickin frustrating because he's so talented," I say.
"No no no." He argues. "Ladies and gentlemen if you've ever heard the powerhouse vocals that come out of her mouth then you will know she is amazing."
"I have to agree with him, Faith," Bobby says. "Cry. That was phenomenal from you."
"Exactly, So when you've got me coming into a studio with my drawl and not much else I need to be making sure it's perfect because she sings circles around me." He says smiling at me. I can't tell if we're flirting or promoting but I like it.
"Right, next question is for Faith. Oh, this is fun, kiss kill or marry. George Strait, Blake Sheldon and Tim McGraw." He laughs.
"Oh well. We all know I love George. Hi George." I say using my sweetest voice. "So I have to marry George," I say. "But this is tough. Because I love them both. And Blake is the sexiest man alive so I don't know...When I look at Blake I just I don't know, he looks like a bad kisser." We all laugh. "And I know that Tim isn't," I said suggestively. "So I'll have to kill Blake and kiss Tim."

Tim POV
We finish the interview at Bobby's and it was so fun. Was Faith flirting with me? is that what was happening? I mean I was flirting with her but that's because I like her, I thought she thought we were just friends? or was she just doing it to promote the song? lord, this is an odd situation we are in.
"Tim, will you drive her to the cafe?" Jack asks as we come out.
"Yeah sure, shall we meet you at the next weekend interview?" I say to them.
"Yeah that's great." Replies Gary and we leave together to the closest Starbucks. I find a park and we walk inside.
"What do you want?" I say to her.
"What ever your having is fine." She says finding us a table. I order to medium macchiatos and sit with her.
"So that wasn't to bad." I say.
"Yeah it was fun! Bobby is hilarious." She says smiling.
"Right? I wish every interview was like that." I laugh.
We sit and drink our coffee just speculating what the rest of the day will be like.
"Hopefully we don't interrogated as hard in the next ones." She laughs referencing the multitude of listener questions that seemed to be about when we're getting back together.
"Yeah! Wow i mean I was expecting some but that was intense."
"I think we handled it well, mostly you." She says. "That part about how I was your first love. Gold." She says taking another sip of her coffee. If only she knew how true it was. Once we finish we drive to our next interview which is with Ty, Chuck and Kelly.
"Good morning y'all. Today in the studio we have to icons, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill." Says Ty.
"Look I'm gonna say it, because I'm the chick and I get to be all mushy. Seeing you to two together is a blast from the past. Like we love y'all together. What has brought this on?" Asks Kelly.
I look over to Faith nodding slightly so that she will speak.
"Well Kelly," She starts "I think it's stems from the fact that we just like each other a whole lot. Well I mean I can't speak for Tim." She says looking at me smiling.
"Oh I like her!" I say quickly making everyone laugh.
"But yeah, we work well together. It works." She finishes.
"I am so excited for this single." Says Kelly. "We have heard the teaser clip, and I want to know is it hard given your history to record something like this together?"
"Definitely." I start. "If you relate to song singing it is hard already because this this level of vulnerability that you add to the performance, but sometimes you can get away with it because people might not know. But then when it's a story like this taht played out in front of everyone we have nothing to hide behind." I say.
"I agree with Tim." Says Faith. "And then it's also the song. It's very honest. And I think it addresses somethings that we haven't spoken about before."
"Do you think we will ever see y'all do a soul 2 soul again?" Asks Chuck.
Faith and I look at each other and laugh.
"Um no." She says.
"Definitely not." I agree. We answer a few more questions and leave.
"He was onto something, chuck was." Says Gary as we wrap up.
"I agree." Says Jack. "A tour? Imagine how good that would be."
