Faith POV
Lord I had good night last night! I won awards, I got to see my friends and mostly I just got to party. But this morning I am coping with the repercussions of that partying. Lord have mercy on my headache. I'm busing packing up the hotel suite because tomorrow morning Tim and I leave for Wes' wedding and then when we get back on Sunday I get to go back home. Thank god this hotel stay is over. Dans stuff is gone, locks are changed, and apparently they even cleaned the drains. Tim is driving the two of us down to star in the morning which is nerve wracking for two reasons. The first is that I ate long trips because I get car sick and the second is that what are Tim and I gonna talk about for 6 and a half hours? The weather? Music? Because between the two of us there isn't much small talk we haven't had so I'm not exactly pumped for the car ride. I finish packing up and butting my bags by the door when it's already late so I order room service and get ready for bed. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.

I wake up feeling refreshed and anxious. At around 7am Tim arrives and we hastily get in the road, deciding that we can stop for food later, once we've left the traffic. We get in the truck and sit in silence as he drives along.
"I haven't seen your parents in so long." He says.
God I haven't even thought about that. Tim and my parents. It took so much for them to embrace him when I bought him home as my rockstar boyfriend but then they absolutely hated what he did to me. "Yeah it should be interesting." I say.
"Oh god." He says shakily.
"What?" I ask.
"The way you said that. Interesting. Do they hate me?"
"Ummmm."
"I love Ted and Edna. Why would they hate me? I got Star that new baseball pitch. They can't hate me right?" He says freaking out. I do remember how much he loved my parents. He would always say how they were so lucky to be together. I guess it was because of how rocky his family life was.
"Ummm... I don't know. You did break they're little girls heart. And you know that my daddy told you that if you ever did that..."
"He'd break my neck." He says. I cannot believe we're having this discussion 30 minutes into our drive. Where's the conversation gonna be in a few hours. "In my defence, we broke up with each other." He try's reasoning, without realising it's not the break up that was a the issue. It was the aftermath.
"You're a charmer. You'll be back in their good books soon enough." I reassure him.
"I don't know. They might shoo me at the door." He laughs. Him and I are staying at the local inn which should be interesting.
"When was the last time you went home?" He asks me.
"Ahhhh Christmas." I remember. "So it's been a while."
"I'm sure everyone will be so excited to see you." He says.
"The town is gonna be so full, everyone's coming down." I explain. "He's the first perry child to get married so people have gone crazy." My mom and dad were kind of like star royalty, just because they're good people. The People loved them, so us kids are kinda a big deal too.
"Oh I wasn't expecting anything less." He says. It's a good thing we're both from small towns, because he gets the whole thing. After a few hours we pull over to get some food. The girl behind the cash register recognises us straight away.
"Oh my gosh! You're... Tim and you... You're Faith and you're.... You're here. Wow. Um. Hi." She says flustered. I have no idea where we are but I'm sure this small little town doesn't get many celebrities waltzing through its diner.
"We sure are." Says Tim. "What's your name?" He asks.
"I'm Allie." She says. "Please take a seat," she says.
