If I had known Thor had already been found by the guardians of the galaxy, I'm sure I would've felt a lot better about this entire situation. Actually, scratch that. I didn't know him being near Peter Quill was such a good thing.

On second thought, none of them seemed like very good companions. They were criminals after all, right?

Still, he could be dead for all I knew. I figured I'd rather have him in the company of a bunch of criminal outlaws than have his corpse flying through space for all of eternity. I had to stay positive.

The beast stalked towards us and guess what? The fucking Hulk wouldn't come out. I cursed at Bruce to try to get him angry, calling him every name under the sun to try and rile him up, but even repeatedly kicking him in the shins and hitting him with bursts of electricity did nothing to bring out the beast in him. It just made his hair stand up straight.

"Dude, you're embarrassing me in front of wizards." Tony said through gritted teeth.

I rolled my eyes and made an effort to stroll passed him. I began to swirl Mjölnir around in my hand, but Tony pressed an arm against my shoulder and pushed me back.

"Stand down... Keep an eye on him." He told me.

"Excuse me?" I rolled my eyes at him, "Do you even know what we're dealing with here? You could use my help."

"Now is not the time, lady Thor." He mocked.

"Exactly. No wonder Captain Rogers isn't speaking to you. You're absolutely impossible." I spat.

Tony didn't listen to me after that. He turned into Iron Man faster than I had imagined possible - I'd never seen him do it like this before - and pulled out a shield that he used to block Cull Obsidian's incoming blows, before blasting him with a set of very advanced looking guns.

I cursed the Allfathers when Stephen conjured up a portal for me and Banner before I got to join the fight. The two of us fell down onto a wet patch of grass along with the front half of a yellow cab and I yelled at him, even though the portal closed as soon as I got to open my mouth.

"For the love of Odin, can somebody please let me help?!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

"To be fair," Banner started, "I doubt they know about the extent of... all of this." He waved his fingers at the electricity in my hands and I slowly nodded.

"Right, makes sense. Still, what are we going to do? If he gets his hands on that Stone, we might as well kiss our asses goodbye right now." We both glanced doubtfully towards the space doughnut.
