Mace That Asshole~ Chapter 16

Krissy's Pov

After I forgave Hunter and we had our little family hug, my phone rang so I answered it.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey sweetie! It's me, your mom." My mom said.

"Hey mom!" I chirped. I haven't seen my parents in a while.

"How's the fam doing?" she asked.

"It's doing amazing mom! Now that Hunter is home, the kids haven't been this happy. Hunter makes them so happy. I love him mom and so do the kids. I have the best life ever!" I told my mom.

"I'm happy for you sweetie! I want all of you to come over to my house for dinner tomorrow.

"Hold on mom. Let me ask Hunter now." I said. I need to make sure he's free to actually go.

"Hunter can we go to dinner at my parents tomorrow?" I shouted.

"Yea!" I heard his faint voice. He was probably in our room.

"Okay mom, we'll come over tomorrow at seven." I told my mom.

"Yes! I can't wait honey." she said.

"Oh and mom, tell dad not to make any comments and not to interrogate Hunter when we get there. I know Dad will ask Hunter about him being in prison." I told her.

"Okay honey I'll tell him now." We said our byes and I went to find the kids. I looked all around and finally found them in their room... with Hunter. Hunter was reading them a story on Em's bed. Hunter lied on the Em's bed and the twins where on Hunter's chest. I could tell Em was asleep because I could hear her soft snores.

I know that I'm being nosy and a creeper but... I can't help it! It makes me so happy that my family are all together and happy. It brought a smile to my face. Ethan's voice broke me out of my trance.

"Daddy, do you love mommy?"

"I love your mommy alot. She is the woman of my dreams." Hunter said, a dreamy look on his face.

"Why didn't I see you on my 1st, 2nd and 3rd birthdays. Me and Em were very sad those days." Ethan admitted.

"Daddy had to stay with the police when you were born. I couldn't come home for 3 years. I'm sorry E. I love you." Hunter whispered. You could hear the pain in his voice.

"I love you too daddy." Ethan said.

Suddenly I heard a knock at the door. I walked over to it and opened it to find a man standing there.

"Well hello beautiful, are you alone inside there? We could have a  quickie." he smirked, then winked at me.

"HUNTER!" I screamed, when I saw the guy had a knife. In seconds Hunter was in the hallway with me, and I had a sharp ass knife to my neck.

"Mace, let her go." Hunter said in a low menacing voice.

"What's the fun in that Hunt man?" The guy I guess who's Mace questioned, with a smirk.

"You be having any fun when I fucking break your neck." Hunter growled, his voice still low.

"Very funny Hunt! What happened to you? Your being tied down to this slut?" He questioned.

"She's is not a fucking slut! Let's get down to fucking business. What are you here for?"

"Well the boss found out your outta jail and he wants to see you. He said you have alot of work to do Hunt." Mace said.

"Tell that cunt I'm not coming back. I went to jail for some shit I didn't even do." Hunter said. Then my angel's walked into the room.

"Daddy what's going on?" E questioned, Em holding on tight to his arm.

"Daddy? Your taking care of someone else's babies?" Mace questioned shocked. I took this time to bite his arm. He let me go right away and he started to nurse his bleeding arm.

"You little bitch! Your gonna fucking pay for that." Mace shouted. I mouthed out 'fuck you' to him, while flipping him off.

He started to run but before he left he yelled out to Hunter some words that got me on edge

"I will fucking get your whore and your 2 bundles of joy" Those 12 words made my blood go cold...
