I Take It Back

"Ten more minutes." "Baby you said that 20 minutes ago." I whined as Cody lifted me from his warm bed and into the cold air. "You're such an ass." "I am not! I thought that you'd like to go to the café down the street for some breakfast." "I take it back, you're my favorite ass." I felt his chest vibrate with laughter. "I'm going to steal some of your clothes." He set me on my feet and I grabbed the jeans I wore yesterday from the floor. I grabbed a Metallica shirt from his closet. "You always look great in my clothes." I laughed and stood on my tippy toes to kiss him. "Why don't we wait for that and we go get breakfast?" "Fine." I stole a jacket from the empty bed across the room.

"Lia!" I turned around and waited for Sebastian to reach me. "What're you doing today?" "Cody and I are going to have a day for us." Sebastian winked at me and I hit him. "Just use protection." I rolled my eyes and kissed his cheek, turning back around and heading for Cody's room. I walked in, not even bothering to knock. I hadn't even taken of my shoes when Cody attacked me with his lips. I laughed into the kiss and he pulled away. I took off my shoes and his jacket, reaching up and kissing him. It soon got heated, we were slowly reaching the bed and as soon as I felt my legs hit it, things got heavier, more desperate. My hands slipped under his shirt and pulled it off, breaking this kiss for a split second. "Are you sure?" "Absolutely."

I woke up with my head buried in Cody's neck. He's playing with my hair, I love this. I smiled and snuggled closer to him. "Baby, we gotta shower." I whined, I didn't want to move. "How about this, we take one together?" "That's fine." He got out of the bed, picking me up and he walked into the bathroom.

I blew on the steamy cup of coffee and opened the dorm door. Maxx and Remi smiled at me from the hallway. "Who is it?" "Maxx and Rem." Cody heaved and pushed himself off the bed. "Got anything on under that?" I rolled my eyes at Remington's protection and pulled Cody's shirt up, revealing my short shorts. Cody came up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. "We hate to bug you two on your special day, but Gerard sent us to find you two. He wants to take to Lia, but he wants Cody there too." I looked at Cody, confusion on both our faces. I put on a pair of socks and we both left the room. "They're in Frank's room." Cody led the way to his dad's room. I numbly followed, ny brain buzzing with thoughts. What could be so bad that they needed to see us right away? We arrived outside the door and I hesitantly knocked. "Come in!" Cody opened the door and we both stepped in.

I saw my mom's lawyer and he smiled at me. "Hey guys, the lawyer wants to talk with Lia and Cody you're here for support." I sat down in the chair in front of the lawyer, smiling at him tentatively. "Nothing bad is going on, I just wanted to inform you that somethings have been located and I've been told that you are to get them right away. First, your mom's keys to the car she left you were found. She said when you turned 16, you are to get them." He laid the familiar black truck keys on the table. We had 2 cars, one my mom got into the crash with, the other she left me. "We have the storage key, which I will give you now." He slid a single silver key across the table. "The last thing is this." He put a box on the table. I stood and opened it, gasping when I saw what was inside. "What is it?" Tears slid down my face. "All of Simon's things, the things he left me that my mom wouldn't let me see."
