Wala sa aming nagsasalita habang dinadala kami ng mga tauhan ni Apo Nimrod sa tinatawag niyang taguan. But in my vocabulary.. it means prison.

Isa iyong kulungan para sa amin. I don't know if we're just lucky that they didn't separate each of us. Mas lalo lamang kaming mahihirapan kapag nagkahiwa-hiwalay kami.

I don't know if it's mercy or what but as long as we are together, we can plan some escape. If ever there's a plan..

Hindi naman kami p-inwersa ng mga villagers habang dinadala sa kulungan. They didn't even chain us with ropes. They casually guided us and we followed. Wala naman silang ginawang pagmamalupit and I'm thankful for it.

But it's damn frustrating to think why we are just letting them put us in their jail! Don't we have a chance to escape? My allies are all powerful. Sons and daughters of Barons of the four kingdoms! Pero bakit namin sila hinahayaang ikulong kami?

Well, I can't make a move alone. Right now, I am powerless. But I'll definitely try to fight if ever they started it. Hindi ako maaaring manguna dahil baka may plano pa sila Firenn tungkol dito. And I don't want to jeopardize our safety.. for now.

Hindi naman ako makapag-tanong noong dinakip nila kami.

There are hunters who watched us as their fellows guided us in the prison. I am wondering what kind of freedom do they really want? And are they free from rulers in here? Doesn't Apo rules them, too?

"B-bestfriend!"

Raisha hurriedly came to me when we reached our destination.

Pinapasok nila kami sa isang gawa lamang sa kahoy na kulungan sa loob ng isang kubo. Inside, it's pretty decent. No bloods or bad smell from corpses that I exaggeratingly imagined. No bones or other prisoners in there. Just plain and simple, prison- like house. Mayroon doong dalawang kama na gawa sa bamboo, na may banig na nakalatag.. May isang mesa na may nakapatong na isang gallon ng tubig.. some breads and fruits.

I'm thinking like, wth! Are we really in prison? What is Apo Nimrod thinking? If he's this kind and gracious.. then why did he put us in here?

"B-bestfriend.. Bakit nila tayo kinulong?" Naiiyak na tanong ni Raisha..

That's my question too, Raish..

She hugged me and I could feel her body shaking in fear. She's crying and I could feel her tears falling as she lay her face on my shoulders.

I almost want to cry too but I can't let them see me weak. Hindi ito ang panahon para maging mahina. I should try at least to be deserving of the title as their heiress.

But I'm quiet worried of my friend. Raisha may be a clumsy, jolly and out of this world person but she's not as strong-willed as I am.. Mas madali siyang matakot kumpara sa akin.

"Patawarin niyo sana ang Apo.. Kailangan lamang niyang magdesisyon para sa aming ikabubuti." Rathion said, when his other companions left us.

Nagpaiwan siya roon upang sabihin lamang iyon?
