Mark P.O.V
I slowly opened my eyes and winced at the light shining in my eyes. Where am I?
I rubbed my eyes for a few seconds and looked around. Ahh... this is my room. I don't remember coming back here yesterday though?
And that's when it hit me. What happened yesterday. I felt tears welling up in my eyes, as I couldn't control them.
I cried silently, not wanting Youngjae to hear me. But eventually, he walked in and saw me curled up on my bed, with tears flowing down my face.
He frowned and walked over to me. He sat down on the edge of my bed and patted my blanket covered arm.
"There there Mark, he's not worth it, there's always someone else you can find." He tried to comfort me. We both knew that didn't help much, but I'd thank him for trying anyway.
"T-This is s-so painf-ful... b-but I don't want to s-stop loving him ei-either..." I managed to choke out.
He rubbed his hand on my back while I sobbed into my arms. "I'll grab you something to eat Alright?" Youngjae asked, and although I never replied, he gently stood up and walked out.
My mind was blank, really, I didn't know what to think. I stared emptily at the wall, a few tear drops still rolled down my face.
When Youngjae brought the food, he set it down on the nightstand beside my bed. All I did was stare at it.
"C'mon Mark, eat something." He tried to convince me. I shook my head. "I'm not hungry."
He sighed. "Alright then, I'll leave it here, but try to eat it before it gets too cold okay?" He said. I didn't really reply, knowing that I wouldn't eat the thing anyway.
Youngjae gave me a huge hug and walked out the door, closing it on the way out this time. I sighed, and let the tears I didn't want Youngjae to see trickle down my face.
Third Person P.O.V
It's been many weeks, many weeks of Mark emotionlessly staring at the wall, occasionally letting a few drops of tears slip, many weeks of Mark barely eating, only to stay alive, and many weeks of Youngjae trying to help or at least do something about the situation to make it better but his efforts were in vane.
He wondered, as well, why Mark wasn't turning back into a vampire. Has he not suffered enough pain?
Youngjae watched Mark hopelessly everyday, hoping things would get better soon, but at the end of the day, it only became a wish.
One day, Youngjae decided to take Mark back to school because he thought, maybe seeing Jackson would help or make things worst. Making things better would make Mark's pain better, and making things worst could possibly finally trigger the emotions he needed to experience in order to turn back into a vampire. Either way, it would be somewhat helpful.
"Come on Mark, you're going to school today, I'm not gonna let you sit here and waste your life anymore." Youngjae said as he tried to drag Mark out of bed.
Eventually, Mark decided to just give up struggling and let Youngjae do what he wants to do to him.
He pulled Mark out of bed, told him to brush his teeth and wash his face. He brushed Mark's hair for him and picked a nice outfit. While he was getting dressed, Youngjae made breakfast.
When they finally got out the door, Youngjae started talking. "You know, hiding wont help anything, you can't hide forever."
"I'm not hiding, I just don't want to deal with life." Was the first sentence Mark said in days. Youngjae sighed. "Well, it's gotta happen one way or another, so why don't we just do it now so this will all be over?" Mark groaned in annoyance.
It wouldn't be Mark's happiest day at school, we all know that, but it's gotta happen right? Hiding from Jackson won't solve the problem, seeing him could be the beginning leading to the solving of the problem, so obviously this is the better choice.
Once they walked into the school, people started glancing at Mark, there were murmurs all over the hall way. Youngjae caught some, like "Hey, that's the new guy Jackson played." And "Can't believe he was stupid enough to fall for it."
Youngjae looked at Mark. Thankfully, he seemed to be spacing out at the time, and hopefully he didn't hear any of those comments.
Mark did space out for a while, but when he snapped back into reality and looked up, he saw Jackson, holding hands with another girl. Mark stopped walking, and stared at the two.
Jackson noticed his stare and walked towards Mark with a smirk. "Well, look who decided to come back to school." He mocked. "Oh! And may I introduce you to my girlfriend, Jaehwa." (I just made that up I'm pretty sure it's not a good name but too lazy to find a name)
Mark was slightly confused and extremely hurt, but he wanted to keep his emotions in. "By the way, Mark, Jaebum was an excuse, we aren't actually dating." He whispered to Mark, so quietly, Youngjae couldn't even hear.
Was I not even worth a real reason for breakup? Mark thought. But he kept it in. I shouldn't seem pathetic in front of all these people.
But the time, there was a small circle forming around the four. Jackson's girlfriend decided it was her turn to mock him.
"You must be stupid to think Jackson would love someone like you. He would only fall for girls like me." She smirked, flipped her hair, batted her lashes and turned to walk away, Jackson following close behind, giving Mark a last glance.
Mark was left standing there, with Youngjae. Keeping on a straight face and walked in the direction out of the school. He was trying so hard not to burst into tears.
Come on Mark, you can do it. Just a few more hallways and you're out. He told himself. He kept on walking, and ignoring the stares. "Mark! Wait!" He heard Youngjae shout after him but he kept on walking. He just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible.
"Mark!" Youngjae called out again. So then, he ran. He ran, but a second later, he was home. He didn't realize anything was off, as he stormed inside the house, breaking down as he slammed the door close.
Mark was overwhelmed with emotions, negative ones. Sadness, anger, pain and loneliness swarmed around in his head.
He didn't realize as his breathing was getting heavy, and quicker. He was having a panic attack.
Mark couldn't take it anymore as he shouted, out loud, into his arms. He was going dizzy, and couldn't see. He almost fainted, but once he came back to his senses, he was a different person, or shall I say, a different creature.
