Mark P.O.V

"Jackson-ah..."

"Hm?"

"Have you ever wondered about... you know.... me?" I questioned.

He thought for a while. "I'm not gonna lie... yes, I do want to know more about you and your... vampire brain." I chuckled.

I'm hoping to tell him everything today, or mostly everything anyway. "Shall I educate you about my vampire brain then?" I responded in a mockingly way to his sentence.

"I'm listening."

"So... I'm turning 479 this year. But usually I just think of it as 'I'm turning 17'. I'm still a teenager in Vampires." I started off, and he already seemed fascinated with the news. How cute...

"Anyway, I used to be... hmm... violent. Extremely, violent." I thought of what I did in the past. "I killed people for fun. Blood sucking and all. I've killed a number of vampires purely for the reason of 'they irritated me'. I guess the 'citizens' think I don't know, but they called me Prince Blood. I've always thought it was a weird name." I slightly chuckled at the thought. I looked over to Jackson, who looked calm, and wasn't really disturbed or terrified by anything.

"Citizen? Do you like, have something to do with the government?" He was a little confused.

"Well, you could say that." I paused for a bit, before continuing. "I'm the eldest prince of the vampire world. That does basically make me the crown prince, but my parents still have a pretty decently long life ahead of them, unless they want to retire, and, no one really likes me, because of how I behaved."

Jackson looked shocked. "So you mean, I'm talking to not a normal vampire, but an extremely dangerous, terrifying one who happens to be the crown prince??" He concluded.

I smiled. "Basically, yes."

"Do you still murder people?" He asked me. Anyone would've thought that he would've had fear in his voice, but he said it so casually, like it was normal.

"Well, no... I haven't done that in a while. Just for your information, I'm only like this towards you, and sometimes Youngjae. I'm still cold and rude and scary to everyone else." I added with a pout. Oops. Wrong thing to do. That is probably not what a scary vampire would do. Oh well.

"Don't you get scared of me?" I asked the question that I was curious about. "I just can't bring myself to be scared by this adorable being in front of me, you know?" He smiled at me and patted my hair. I kicked him under the table and tried to scare him with my fangs.

Turns out he just thinks I look like a non-intimidating baby lion. Ouch. My pride. But this is Jackson. I'll let it go just this once.

"What else can I tell you?" I wondered out loud. "Hmm... what about how you got here?" He suggested. So I told him all about this being a punishment, and how I was a human for I while, and also about Youngjae and why he was the only one I even bothered to look at back then.

"Hey Mark?" Jackson suddenly said.

"Yes?"

"Are you able to turn me? Into a vampire?"

I froze for a second.

"Why do you want to know?" I asked him, mostly for the point of teasing to be honest. I kind of knew why he asked that question.

"N-no reason. Don't answer it if you don't want to." He attempted to cover up the fact that he was flustered.

"I'm joking baby-"

"Don't call me that." He pouted and turned away.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry, I know why you asked me okay? I'll tell you, come back to meeee...." he sighed and turn back around. I grinned and he couldn't help but smile.

"Yes I can turn you. When our bond is strong enough, and with your consent, I can turn you in the 'mating' way." I explained, "but being a vampire might be painful so... I don't know... think well before you try anything like that."

He smiled and nodded, he looked like he had an answer in his head already... you're being delusional Mark, why would he want to be turned by you? I was scared to read his thoughts and see what he was thinking about.

"Markie... you good?" He snapped me back to reality. "Hm? Oh. Yeah." I gave him a reassuring smile and brushed off the other thoughts.

"But... what other types of turning r there?" Aaaaand his curiosity is back. "Well, there's the 'non mating way' which is when you bite a random human, and you don't kill them, but enough of the special liquid on our fangs gets into their blood stream, and they basically turn crazy and evil and uncontrollable. I usually just kill them because it's annoying dealing with those." I took a sip of the coffee in front of me. And continued.

"Then there's the 'non consensual way' in which a vampire intentionally wants to turn a human, but they don't have their consent, but they can release another type of liquid into the human's blood stream and it'll turn them none the less. They won't turn crazy, but they don't become the vampire's mate either." Jackson nodded, understanding what I said.

"And lastly, there's the mating way." I paused a bit and looked Jackson in the eye. He looked completely interesting in what I was talking about.

"When a human falls in love with a vampire and the vampire does the same, they have a special bond. This bond doesn't appear often. One or two every generation would be the most. When the vampire's lover is turned, they automatically become mates. I forgot to mention, if vampire's fall in love with one person or being, they will love them for all their life, unless they are able to forget about them, which is pretty much impossible, which is how many vampires end up sad and lonely for centuries." Jackson's eyes sparkled at the "loving them forever" part.

"Wait... does that mean I'm...." he trailed off, not knowing whether to finish the sentence or not.

"I don't know baby, you're gonna have to figure that out yourself." I playfully said, and he pouted.

Of course you're my mate.

You will be anyway.

You're mine and mine only.

And I'm only your's.

I wouldn't have it be any body else.

I'm spoiling y'all a little bit, but I guess not really cause I haven't posted often these past months. Sorry!! For some reason, now that I have more homework than I've ever had, I'm posting more.
