•THIRTY NINE•

Third Person P.O.V

Mark's been training Jackson for self defence purposes, as he deals with the group, which they discovered was called BlackFangs.

Jackson had caught up with a regular vampire's strength in about 3 weeks. Regular vampires are not all that strong. They don't exactly have much special power. Unlike the palace guards who were trained, the groups which oppose the kingdom who uses black magic, or the special training that royal vampires go through and powers that they are born with or obtain when they marry into the royal family.

Mark's, for example, was healing. It was bizarre. Mark used to laugh at his own power and wonder when he would use it, because all he liked to do was simply kill. Now that he changed, he could kind of see it as useful, though he never really has chances to use them.

Jackson, was learning quick. He was real talented at this. Mark has given him some of his powers, and he's managed to control them really well, it fit perfectly to Jackson. Maybe he was meant to be a vampire some day.

Mark P.O.V

I've been trying to deal with BlackFangs for a while, meaning that I've had to leave Jackson more than often.

"Jackson-ah." I called out as I walked into my room, catching a glance of him on his phone. "Yeah?" He replied and turned his head to face me. I felt bad saying this to him every time, knowing we would miss each other.

I walked towards the couch he was sitting on by the window. "I gotta go stay at the castle for a few days. Sorry baby." I said as I watched him give me a sad but approving smile. "Okay. Don't be gone for too long." he joked, lightening up the mood.

I chuckled and sat down beside him, and put my forehead against his, staring into his eyes. "I promise. When I finish this, I will spend all the time in the world with you." I cupped his face with my hand, and leaned in, attaching our lips.

The kiss was nice and slow, transferring all the apologies and longings between us. After a while, we slowly pulled apart, but our foreheads still remained against each other.

"You better keep your promise." He said. I looked at him and nodded. "Of course." I smiled at him before pulling away to stand up. Jackson followed me.

He walked me to the front entrance of my castle as I held his hands. "Hurry back." He said, and with a nod and one last glance, I left the castle.

Jackson P.O.V

It's been a few days since Mark hyung left. I miss him a lot. I wanted to go with him so we could at least see each other, but he said he doesn't want his father anywhere near me, which was reasonable. I didn't really want to have another encounter with the king either.

Suddenly, I heard noises, and one or two muffled screams. I was immediately alert and on my feet, just like hyung had taught me.

I slowly advanced towards the door of Mark's room, and opened it. Down the hall, I could see unfamiliar figures coming towards me.

They were wearing palace guard uniforms.

Regardless, I fought them. It was difficult, but we were pretty even, with Mark's powers flowing through me.

I was getting tired. It was 10 against 1 after all. Suddenly, all the creatures got thrown away from me, and I turned around to find Mark hyung standing at the end of the hall.

I leaned against the wall and panted. I had a few scratches and cuts here and there, but nothing too bad.

Mark hyung was angry, but calmed himself enough and ran up to me and asked if I was okay. I probably looked worse than I actually am, seen as there's blood dripping down my arm that hyung could smell was mine.

"I'm okay hyung, it's not that bad." He gave a glance at me and slowly turned his head towards the palace guards which were still on the floor, groaning in pain.

He traveled to them at the speed of light and gripped one by the neck. "Who sent you?!" He growled.

The guy was suffocating. "The-the k-king..." he managed to croak out. Mark stared at him for a while, then looked at the rest.

He tightened the grip on the guard's neck. "Did you think I would have mercy on you if you were all palace guards? Who really sent you?!" The vampire winced and could barely speak.

"L-leader-" and he died. Mark dropped his lifeless body, and with a wave of his hand, all the other bodies lying on the floor went limp.

I never actually saw him kill before. But as I say, it didn't really scare me at all. Because I knew, Mark, was still my Mark, and as long as he was him, he would never harm me and his loved ones.

"Hyung... calm down." I walked up to him and he turned around. He smiled at me. "Don't worry Jackson-ah, I'm not that angry anymore." He said. But then why did he just kill them all? He looked like he was going off again...

"I killed them all but one. I need evidence for treason." He said. What? "What do you mean hyung?" I asked.

"The only way you can get those uniforms is from the king or one of the heads of the military. When you get the uniform it is attached to you in a way that other vampires can't just take them off and wear them." He explained and got rid of all the bodies but one.

"These vampires seemed to be wearing palace guard clothing, but the energy the emitted was different. They were rogue vampires that happened to become a group." Hyung continued. "There's only one rogue group who is capable of doing this." He said.

"It's the BlackFangs."

"So you're saying the king is dealing with BlackFangs?" I asked, and he nodded.

"But why do they want me?"

"That, would be another reason I'd have to find out all about them, get rid of them as fast as possible."

I got the Present:YOU album... it was the Jaebum version! He's not my bias but my first bias wrecker until the entire Got7 became my bias wrecker. So I'm happy with that.

I think I'll start collecting Got7 albums, just because I currently don't stan any other groups. There are other groups I like and stuff but I'll just focus on collecting Got7 albums for now.

I feel like doing question of the day from now on so.... first one!!
