Wow in the thirties already. This book might have like fifty chapters or more, I just realized oh my...
Jackson P.O.V
I felt so... dead.
When was the last time I even felt another emotion?
I miss him even though I really shouldn't.
I want him even though he only hurt me.
I need him even though he would never need me.
I've locked myself in my bedroom after that day. Jaebum or Jinyoung would always come and check up on me or force me to eat another meal.
I was grateful and I hated myself for not being able to show that either. I hated myself for everything I feel.
Why can't I just forget about him?
I hate you Mark Tuan.
I hate you so much because I still love you to death.
Third Person P.O.V
Jackson's been absent at school for days, you could tell Mark was worried, and also drowning in regret. Jaebum thought about it for a while. He'll give Mark a chance to get Jackson back. He's not sure how well it'll go, Jackson might end up hating him for a few months, but it was well worth it if it meant Jackson and Mark had a chance to be happy again.
Jaebum called Mark over after school.
Mark was surprised, to say the least.
"Listen Mark, I know, you hurt Jackson, several times at that," Mark looked down, ashamed. "But I can tell you didn't mean it. At all. Here. I'll give you a chance to talk to him. It'll be slightly forced, and I can't guarantee it'll work well, but it's worth a try."
Mark looked up, with the first bit of hope in his eyes in weeks. Jaebum took a key out his pocket. "Here. The spare key the Jackson's house. Use it wisely. I'll tell Jinyoung not to visit him today. If it doesn't go well, tell me." Mark literally started crying. He was so thankful to Jaebum, you don't even know.
Mark hugged the guy, whispering thank you's over and over. "Alright alright, go get your man, before he gets taken." Jaebum said, and he gave him a small smile and one last wave, and disappeared into the crowds of people.
Mark travelled the fastest he could remember in years. He slowed down when he got to Jackson's front door. He held up the key with a shaky hand, moving it towards the lock.
'Just do it Mark.' He thought to himself, and he did. He pushed the door open, and was hit with the scent of Jackson. Oh how he missed it.
Mark quietly closed the door. He thought Jackson wasn't home, but the smell of his sweet blood and also the mate attraction that's been growing stronger is telling Mark that Jackson was right there.
Mark wandered upstairs as the pull from Jackson got stronger. He stopped at the door that Jackson was behind. He took a deep breath.
'Okay Mark, you can do this.'
He twisted the doorknob and gently pushed the bedroom door open. The first thing he spotted was a lump on the bed. He almost stared tearing up just from that, but he told himself to put on a strong face, pretend that he was strong until he's allowed to break down.
Mark could tell Jackson wasn't really asleep. He quietly and cautiously called out, "Jackson-ah..."
Jackson was sort of startled at the voice, looking at the door slowly, to see a familiar figure he's been missing a lot these days. At first he though he was just imagining things, and thought he was pathetic to the point that he was now having illusions.
