Chapter 24

Chapter 24: Confusing

Isabella's Pov

Its been approximately a week since all that drama happened with me and Amanda. Jax has been staying at an hotel near us and they all have been constantly meeting up and discussing things. Not things that I know of because for some reason they never let me hear, even mell and kells are in on what's going on and won't tell me and lately it's all starting to get on my nerves. Well lately everything's beginning to get on my nerves for some odd reason. I've continuously been having a lot of tantrums and mood swings and I don't even know why.

I was sleeping soundly in bed with Carter by my side his hands lazily around my waist when suddenly I felt something rising up in the back of my throat. Immediately I stat up throwing Carter's arms off me before speeding to the bathroom. I ignored his calls and ran straight to the bathroom locking the door before letting out everything emptying my stomach as I threw up in the toilet. "Isabella what's wrong? let me in"he pounded on the bathroom door but I still didn't let him in, he didn't need to see this.

After finishing I rinsed out my mouth still ignoring Carter's panicked calls on the other side of the door. I was breathing heavily and felt extremely nauseous. Turning on the faucet I splashed my face with water trying to calm myself down.

"isabella " Carter called as my head snapped in the direction of the door"baby please open the door and tell me what's wrong" his voice sounded worrying.

I sighed walking over to the door unlocking it as it swung open and I was immediately engulfed in a tight hug from Carter "what happened?"he whispered. I laid my head on his shoulder

"I don't know I just feel really bad"I admitted

"do you need go see a doctor?"he questioned lifting my chin with his index finger so I stared up at him.

"No it's fine. I'm sure it's not that bad"

"you sure" he asked looking a bit concerned.

"yeah" I answered

"OK" he leaned down to kiss me but I  blocked it trying to wiggle out his grip

"no don't kiss me" I whined

"what?why not?" he pouted looking way too cute for his own good.

"No I just threw up! Carter stop!"I screeched as he tried kissing me again

"You stop and come here let me taste them lips " he laughed trying to grab me as I ran out the bathroom and he trailed behind me. We were both in the hallway in a fit of laughter as he grabbed my waist still attempting to kiss me when someone cleared their throat.  Pausing we both looked up to see Jessica standing there staring at both of us with a some what envious look.

"umm... Breakfast is ready" she said before quickly turning on her heel and walking off back downstairs without another word. I watched as she disappeared downstairs with a nasty  scowl still plastered across my face from the sight of her. A whole damn week has past and she hasn't done anything to prove that she's not as good as she seems and I'm so furious yet happy at the same time. I want her out my house so bad but I still want her to stay here and realize that she doesn't have to do as Jane orders. It's just really hard to say where I stand with this girl or how I feel about her.

"You okay?" Carter asked turning me to face him

"yeah I'm okay"I answered " I'm gonna go take a shower"I said before walking off back down the hall to the bathroom.

I slipped on a pair of joggers and a tshirt before walking back downstairs where Jessica and Carter where busy at the table talking but it didn't seem as if they noticed I was there. I tried to avoid that small bit of anger in my chest as I watched how she continuously kept touching him as they spoke and it was like he didn't even have a problem with it.
