[E L A I N A H O P E]

"dani, do you have rehearsals today?" i asked, already knowing the answer was no, but i asked anyways to double check.

"no, do you have a shoot today?" he asked, plopping down next to me on the couch since i was just sitting there watching netflix.

"no." i smiled, knowing that daniel and i had a day all to ourselves.

"well then, let's go on a date today." he smiled, standing up and holding his hand out for me to take it.

i gladly grabbed his hand, and we went into our room to get ready. i put on a crop top and some jean shorts, while he put on some black ripped jeans and am orange adidas shirt.

"ready baby?" he asked, poking his head into the bathroom.

"yep!" i giggled, walking out of the bathroom and into our bedroom where daniel was patiently waiting for me.

"let's go!" he yelled, causing me to laugh.

we walked out of the apartment and started having a nice stroll down the streets of los angeles. we passed a small boutique and i told daniel i wanted to go in there to get some new earrings, since i lost about half of my good pairs.

we went inside, and i walked over to the jewelry section. i found a cute necklace and some silver dangly earrings. as i was about to go check out, i felt some arms wrap around me. it definitely wasn't daniel. these arms felt female. i was a little freaked out at first, until i realized who it was. it was brooklynn. i hadn't seen her in a few years due to her going to uc davis (university of california davis) to get a veterinary degree.

"brooklynn!" i squealed, wrapping my arms around her waist.

"elaina! i thought you moved to paris!" she said excitedly, pulling away free hug and looking at me.

"that was only part-time." i told her, smiling.

"i want you to meet someone." she told me, gesturing to a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes standing a few feet behind her, "this is ashlyn, my girlfriend."

oh wow, i didn't know she was bisexual.

"hi ashlyn, i'm elaina!" i said happily, shaking her hand.

"nice to meet you." she smiled.

i walked back over to brooklynn and we talked all about what had happened in the time we hadn't seen each other.

"it was nice swim you again, brooklynn. i should probably get going, but text me, okay?"

"of course! i'll see you later?" she asked, giving me a goodbye hug.

"totally." i replied, pulls away from the hug and walking back over to daniel who was waiting patiently for me.

i checked out my jewelry, then we walked around los angeles some more, hand-in-hand.

after a couple of hours, it started getting dark, so we walked back to the apartment. by the time we got there, it was 9:57 pm and i was real,y tired from walking around all day.

"dani, i'm going to bed," i said, pecking him on the lips.

"i'll come, too." he told me, sitting up and walking over to our bedroom.

i changed into my pajamas, did my nightly routine, and went back into the bedroom to find daniel already passed out on the bed. i silently giggled to myself and laid down next to him, snuggling up to him as close as possible.

he wrapped his arm around me, making me feel very safe and protected, then i fell asleep in his arms.

best date ever.
