"daniel, for the last time, you have to get some sleep. take a sleep aid or something. i can't be waking up at 3:00 in the morning every night." i groaned, trying to block out the noise of daniel on the phone with elaina for yet another night.

"dude, i can't sleep no matter what. i've tried taking those damn sleep aid pills, but they don't help." he told me, focusing his attention back to his girlfriend on the phone.

"i'm sorry jack if we're keeping you up." elaina said apologetically, and i could hear that she actually mean that she was sorry for keeping me up, making me slightly less angry.

"it's fine," i mumbled, closing my eyes and trying to go back to sleep.

i eventually heard daniel's soft snores and a giggle on the other line. i got up from bed and grabbed daniel's phone, explaining to elaina that daniel fell asleep. she told me good night and ended the call.

every night for the past week and a half, daniel and elaina are on a call together. the times can range from midnight to 5:00 in the morning. it's ridiculous. i always ask david if i can switch hotel rooms, but no one wants to, so i'm stuck in a room with daniel every time.

i mean, i get they miss each other and stuff, but it's not like me and gabbie are on the phone with each other all night. we're used to it. gabbie lives in florida, so it's been like this for our whole relationship. same goes for zach and jonah. ellery and tate are both in college at the moment, but it's not like they're on the phone all night with each other.

i can't stand it. i can never sleep because daniel is awake on the other side of the room having a pleasant conversation with his girlfriend at 3:00 in the morning while i'm trying to get some sleep so i can be well rested before the show the next day.

i just wish they would understand that they're not the only ones at loss of sleep.

"yo, jack. you have huge bags under your eyes. did you sleep well last night?" i asked jack, who was chugging down a mug of coffee.

"i can't ever fucking sleep! daniel is always up every night talking to elaina! every single fucking night. last night they were up at 3:00 in the morning. three o'clock in the fucking morning! it fucking sucks!" jack said angrily, taking another sip of his coffee.

"i really don't know how to help you, man." i sighed, taking a bite out of my waffle. "maybe you could some sleep on the floor in our room or something." i suggested.

"sure, why not?" he asked, taking another swig of his coffee.

"dude, look at daniel. he looks ten times worse than you." i said, pointing to daniel who had just got out of the elevator and was walking towards the breakfast area.

"bro, this is what you get for making yourself get three hours of sleep." jack told daniel, who groaned of tiredness in response.

"i don't make myself get three hours of sleep. i just fall asleep when my body wants to." he replied, rubbing his eyes and walking over to the coffee machine.

"he is such a lovesick puppy." i said, sighing.

"that kid is inseparable from elaina." jack mumbled, finishing his cup of coffee and looking more awake.

they're inseparable.
