"what? no!" i protested, throwing my arms up in the air then crossing my arms in front of my chest.

"daniel, you and jack are both highly sleep deprived because you're always on the phone all night. i'm sorry, but you're gonna have to tell elaina that you guys can't call at night any longer. it's effecting both you and jack severely." david said sternly.

"fine, but it's not like i'm going to get any sleep anyways." i mumbled, walking out of david's hotel room and into mine so i could text elaina.

me🐍: hey bbg. i have to tell you something.

love of my life💞💘: oh no, is something wrong?

me🐍: david got mad at me today for being up all night with you, and he's saying that both me and jack are highly sleep deprived, so we won't let me call you at night any longer.

love of my life💞💘: it's okay. if it's better for you guys, we don't have to call in the middle of the night, just promise me that you'll call me before you go to bed, okay?

me🐍: of course, bby. i love you so much, but i have to go to sound check. i'll call you after the show.

love of my life💞💘: bye dani, i love you too.

i sighed and shut off my phone, then got up to go down to the bus so we could head to sound check. when i made it down there, everyone was waiting for me.

"did you tell her?" david asked, and i nodded.

"tell who what?" jonah asked, confused.

"i had to tell elaina that jack can't sleep at night so we can't talk at night any longer." i explained, deeply sighing.

"hey! it's not just because jack can't sleep. it's because you're deprived of sleep, too." david told us, as bill, our bus driver, started the bus and started driving towards the venue for sound check.

"thank god!" jack cheered, throwing his head back in relief. "i can finally sleep at night!"

"whatever." i mumbled, turning my attention to my phone and going on instagram.

as i was about to exit the app, i saw that elaina posted something recently. it was a picture of her shirt lifted up and her hands placed on the small bump on her stomach.

i chuckled at my phone and shut it off, realizing that we had arrived at the venue. i got up and walked into the building and we started sound check.

"thank you missouri!" i called, before exiting the stage.

"another successful show! i can't believe this is our life." corbyn gushed, looking down at his phone to text christina.

like i did after every show, i went into the green room to call elaina. she answered after three rings.

"hey baby! how was the show?" she asked.

"it was so great! missouri is so hype!" i said happily. "what have you been doing today?"

"well, i had a checkup today and dr. coleman said my ultrasound is in a week." she explained, and i smiled to myself.

"i can't wait." i told her, and i could practically hear her smile through the phone. "oh shit, i have to go. the meet and greet is starting. i'll call you before i go to bed, okay?"

"okay, dani. i'll talk to you later."

"bye baby, i love you."

"i love you, too."

and with that, the call ended and we went into the meet and greet room to meet all of the fans.

"goodnight babygirl, i love you." i sighed, as it was 10:30 and i needed to get to bed.

"goodnight dani, i love you too." she said softly, and ended the call.
