"c'mon elaina, get up." christina said, shaking me in bed.

"i don't want to." i whined. "i was up until four o'clock in the morning yesterday."

"that sucks for you, but you have your ultrasound today, so get your ass up so you can get ready." christina told me, and i immediately shot up in bed and went into the closet.

i heard christina snicker from the bedroom, then leave. i smiled to myself and picked out one of daniel's hoodies and some jeans, then went out to the kitchen where christina was making pancakes for yet another day.

"god christina, is all you can make pancakes?" i joked, as she out a plate in front of me.

"yeah, pretty much." she shrugged, getting herself a plate.

i quickly ate, then got out my phone to text daniel and make sure he was free during the time of the ultrasound so he could be on facetime during it.

dani boi🐍💞: I'M ALWAYS FREE 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

i luv gay snailz🐌: oh my god you're so fucking stupid.

i luv gay snailz🐌: do you have anything going on today at 10:30?

dani boi🐍💞: no, today is just a free day on the bus. we're driving to kentucky today.

i luv gay snailz🐌: okay, good. the ultrasound is today :)

dani boi🐍💞: yo, how did i forget?

i luv gay snailz🐌: i don't know, but i'll facetime you when i get to the doctor's office. i have to go now.

dani boi🐍💞: okay, bye baby.

"stop texting daniel and let's go." christina said, and i looked up from my phone.

"how did you know i was texting daniel? i could've been texting anyone." i told her, standing up from the barstool and heading towards the garage.

"because you always have a big smile on your face when you're texting daniel." she replied, unlocking the car and getting inside.

"hey, i love him. there will always be a smile on my face when i'm with him, in real life or over in the virtual world." i told her, smiling at just the thought of daniel.

"i know." christina said, pulling out of the driveway and heading towards the hospital.

"okay elaina, this might be a bit cold." aurora, the nurse, warned.

"hold on a second," i said, "christina, can you facetime daniel really quick on my phone?"

"yeah, sure." christina told me, getting on my phone and facetiming daniel.

he answered almost immediately.

"okay, you can do it now." i told the nurse, so she applied some of the cool gel onto my stomach.

as she started to rub the gel around with the ultrasound tool, i heard an odd sound. it wasn't the sound of one heartbeat, but two. i looked on the screen and saw two babies rather than one.
