Episode 17

Recap: Kavita finds out about Swara and Sanskar's wedding. She becomes furious at Swara, but Sanskar stands up for Swara and warns Kavita to stay away. Swasan finally reach their flat.

EPISODE 17

Sanskar wakes up as the sunlight hits his face. He stretches his arms and opens his eyes. He looks at the bed and finds it empty.

Sanskar- Swara?
As if on cue, Swara walks into the bedroom. She was wearing a beige dress that flowed right above her knees. Her hair was still a bit wet from her shower. Sanskar couldn't resist taking his eyes off of her. Swara packed her bag with her books and left the room. Sanskar broke out of his trance and hit his head.

Sanskar- Focus Sanskar!

He then went to the bathroom and took a shower. Sanskar also got ready and went into the dining area. He looked at the tables which had a plate of parathas.

Sanskar- Wow parathas!
Swara took the plate and started eating.

Sanskar- Where's my plate?

Swara- I woke up early and made myself breakfast. To the world we may be husband and wife, but inside this house, don't expect that from me. U can make ur own breakfast.

Sanskar- But I don't know how to cook.

Swara- Oh well.

Sanskar thinks- What kind of person is this?
Sanskar drinks some water then leaves the apartment. Swara eats breakfast and leaves. She finds Sanskar waiting for her downstairs.

Swara thinks- I didn't give him breakfast but he still waited for me?
Feeling guilty, Swara sits on the bike. Without saying a word, they arrive at college. Swara and Sanskar go to their respected classes. Lunch break arrives and Swara was sitting with Kavya. She was with Kavya indeed, but her eyes were wandering elsewhere.

Kavya- Swara?

Swara- Huh?

Kavya- Who are you looking for?

Swara- Me? No one.
Rishi walks by.

Swara thinks- Rishi is here. Where is Sanskar?
Kavya sees Swara looking at Rishi. She understands who Swara was looking for.

Kavya- Rishi!
Rishi walks over to them.

Kavya- I think some one wants to know where Sanskar is.
Kavya looks at Swara.

Swara- Why are you looking at me? I don't care where Sanskar is.
Swara stands up to leave.

Rishi- Sanskar is in the library doing research for one of his assignments.
Swara hears this.

Swara thinks- Sanskar didn't eat lunch either?

The day passes and finally classes end. Swara finds Sanskar waiting outside the college with his bike. Swara sits on the bike and like the morning, they go home without uttering a word.

(Swasan's Apartment...)

Sanskar enters the kitchen and opens the fridge. He finds it empty. Swara sees this. Sanskar drinks a glass of water. Then he starts to head out.

Swara- Sanskar, where are you going?
Sanskar replies to her without turning around. His back is still facing Swara.

Sanskar- Swara, I work part-time at a coffee shop. I will get home late.
And with that, Sanskar leaves. Swara freshens up then comes to the kitchen and looks for ingredients. Because there was only a few things available, she decided to make soup. After making the soup, she poured herself a bowl and kept another bowl aside....for what reason she kept another bowl, even she didn't know. After eating, Swara went to bed. She checked the time and it was 11pm.

Swara thinks- Sanskar said he was going to be late, so why am I worrying? What is happening to me?
And with these thoughts, Swara fell asleep. A few hours later, she woke up due to some noise. It was 1 in the morning. Swara got up and went out of the bedroom to the living room. There she saw Sanskar holding on to the sofa for support. Swara immediately ran to him and held his waist, wrapping his arm over her shoulder.

Swara- Sanskar! Sanskar what happened?
Struggling, Swara brought Sanskar to the bedroom and laid him on the bed. He was half conscious and could barely keep his eyes open.

Swara- Sanskar hasn't eaten anything the whole day today. He has to eat something.
Swara ran to the kitchen and got the bowl of soup. She made Sanskar lean against the backboard of the bed and started feeding him the soup. A trail of soup ran down his chin. Swara used her dupatta to wipe it off. After feeding the soup to Sanskar, she put the bowl on the table next to the bed. Sanskar, still not fully conscious, did not have the strength to sit up right. He started leaning forward and eventually fell on Swara. Swara struggled to hold him up and support her body while Sanskar's chin rested on Swara's shoulder. Swara was shocked.They were in a hugging manner and Swara didn't know what to do. She held the back of Sanskar's head with one hand and his supported his back with the other arm and tried to lift him off of her. Slowly, she made him lay on the bed and covered him with a blanket.

The Next Morning...

Today was their off from college. Classes were not in place on Saturdays and Sundays, giving the students a break of two days. Sanskar woke up and found himself on the bed. Surprised, he sat up and looked around the room. To his surprise, he found Swara sleeping on the couch. Sanskar rubbed his eyes.

Sanskar- I'm not dreaming am I? Swara on the sofa and I'm on the bed?
He looks around and finds the empty bowl of soup on the table.

Sanskar- What happened last night? Why can't I remember?
Sanskar picked up the bowl and looked at it. Suddenly, he remembered what happened last night. He remembered Swara feeding him, wiping his mouth, and him falling onto Swara....

Sanskar (talking to himself)- Yaar Sanskar, what did you do? U fell right on top of that Siyappa Queen? Now she'll never let this go and will taunt me forever.
Swara wakes up hearing Sanskar's voice. Sanskar stares at her with wide eyes.

Swara- What?

Sanskar- Nahi...nothing.
Swara walks into the bathroom.

Sanskar- Strange, she didn't bring up last night at all.

The Next Scene...

Sanskar finds Swara in the kitchen looking for something. He goes in the kitchen and takes a glass of water.

Swara- Are you planning on living on water all day? Did u forget yesterday or should I remind you.
Sanskar gulped in embarrassment.

Swara- Sanskar, I think we need to come to a compromise.
Sanskar was confused.

Swara- U can't cook and you need food to live right? Well I can cook but I need ingredients and things to cook. So, we will make a deal. U will buy the things we need, like typical groceries and I will cook for the both of us.
Sanskar thought about it for a while. Finally he gave in.

Sanskar- Fine.
Swara held out her hand.

Swara- Deal?
Sanskar shook her hand.

Sanskar- Deal.

Swara: No Sanskar no! Stop! Don't come any closer to me!
Sanskar smirks and advanced towards Swara.
