Episode 68

Recap: Swara and Sanskar face an awkward situation after an eventful night together where they get intimate. Sam realizes what happened between them and teases them. Swara starts voiding Sanskar. Sanskar confronts Swara and she reveals to Sanskar that she is pregnant.

EPISODE 68

Sanskar- What?

Swara softly speaks- I'm pregnant.
Sanskar lets go of Swara's shoulders and takes a step back as the words sink in. Swara's words echoes in his head. Suddenly Swara is lifted off her feet as she feels herself being carried by two strong arms.

Swara- Sanskar! What are you doing?

Sanskar carries Swara in his arms and spins around.
Sanskar- Thank you!

Swara giggles- Sanskar put me down.
Sanskar puts Swara down and hugs Swara. Swara smiles and lifts her arms to hug Sanskar back. Suddenly she stops and her smiles fades. She lowers her arms and pushes Sanskar off of her. Sanskar is shocked.

Swara- Don't.

Sanskar- Swara, what happened?

Swara- Why are you so happy Sanskar?

Sanskar- Swara?

Swara- Tell me Sanskar, why are you happy? Oh, I see, this is another act of yours isn't it?

Sanskar- Swara, what are you saying? Mera bacha....
Swara raises her hand and stops Sanskar.

Swara- No. Not your child, it's my child. You lost all your rights that day. You couldn't trust me on a simple matter Sanskar. What guarantee is there that you won't leave my child one day just like how you left me?
Sanskar is shock. His heart shatters to pieces. A tear drops down his cheek. Swara notices this. Her heart breaks seeing Sanskar in this state, but she keeps herself strong for her, for her child. Swara turns around to hide her tears. She walks out of the apartment. Sanskar calls after her, but she doesn't stop. Swara runs through the streets as Sanskar desperately runs after her. She comes to some kind of musical festival and runs through the crowd. Sanskar loses sight of Swara and frantically searches through the crowd.

Announcer- Okay ladies and gentlemen, it's time for our competition to begin.
The crowd cheers.

Announcer- Who is up for the challenge? This challenge has never been completed. It is impossible! You must sing a whole song in one breath! Come on guys, do it for your love! Let's see who is courageous enough for this! Let's see who can do it!
The crowd cheers harder.

"koii jo mila to mujhe aisa lagta tha..."

Swara stops when she hears that familiar singing, that voice that stole many hearts in college. She turns around and looks at the stage to see Sanskar singing.

"jaise merii sarii duniya men giiton kii rut aur rangon kii barkha...
khusbuu kii aandhii mahakii hu'ii sii ab saari fizaa'en..."

Swara is shocked as she sees Sanskar singing the song in one breath. She advances towards the stage. Swara looks at Sanskar with hurt evident in his eyes as he continues to sing.

"main hoon aur khoye hue pyaar ki yaadein hain
doob gaya hai dil gham ke andhare..."

A tear falls down Swara's cheek as she sees Sanskar's face turning red. Sanskar closes his eyes and continues singing.

"kitni hasiN hai kitni suhani
hum dono ki prem kahani..."

The crowd cheers as Sanskar finishes the song. The mic drops from Sanskar's hand and drops to the floor. Sanskar collapses on the floor.

Swara- Sanskar!
Swara runs up on stage. She lays his head on her lap and taps his cheek.

Swara- Someone please help!
Sanskar starts breathing heavily.

Swara- Oxygen! He needs oxygen!

Without any second of hesitation, Swara brings her lips to meet Sanskar's and gives him cpr. Sanskar slowly opens his eyes and looks at Swara, her eyes closed and her lips on his. Sanskar smiles against Swara's lips. Swara feels it and quickly pulls back up.

Swara- Sanskar?

Sanskar- Kya yaar Siyappa Queen. How could I leave you so early? Nothing was going to happen to me. I knew you wouldn't let anything happen to me.
Swara slaps Sanskar's shoulder.

Swara- Idiot! I hate you!

Sanskar- But I love you!
Sanskar pulls Swara into a hug. This time, Swara hugs Sanskar back tightly. The crowd cheers.

Sanskar- I love you.

Swara- I love you too. (Sajna Ve plays in bg).
Sanskar smiles and hugs Swara tighter.

(Swara's Apartment...)

Swara enters her apartment. Sanskar tries to enter. Swara stops him and giggles.
Sanskar- What is this?

Swara- Where are you going?

Sanskar- What do you mean?

Swara- This is my apartment. What are you doing here?

Sanskar- Swara, don't do this yaar. Don't keep me away from you anymore or my child.

Swara- On one condition.

Sanskar- What?

Swara- First prove to me that you are ready to be a father of a child.
Swara closes the door in Sanskar's face. Sanskar stands there shocked.

Sanskar- What new problem is this? How do I prove that I'm ready to be a father?
