Episode 21

Recap: Kavya and Rishi find out the truth behind Swasan's marriage. They tease Swara and Sanskar about it. Sanskar comes home from work and doesn't find Swara. He calls Kavya, who gives him an address. He arrives at an address and enters an auditorium hall. He sees it is a charitable function and starts to leave but then suddenly stops.

EPISODE 21

Sanskar stops in his tracks.

Meri Zindagi Mera Pyar Yad Aa Raha Hai....

Sanskar turns around. He sees a girl siting on the stage with her back towards the audience.

Aanewala Hai Jo, Woh Yad Aa Raha Hai....

The girl turns around, shocking Sanskar. He stares mesmerized at the stage, where Swara was standing. Sanskar, mesmerized by Swara, stood there while she danced. (To know how Swara danced and what she wore, please watch Madhuri Dixit's song, Sajan Sajan Teri Dulhan).

Not taking his eyes off Swara, Sanskar starting walking towards the front.

Aa Ja, Aa Ja, Sajan Aa Ja...

As Sanskar walked down to the front, many annoyed audience members told him to move. Paying no heed to them, Sanskar kept walking. Finally he sat on a seat in the front row.

Mera Mehbub Mera Sanam Aa Raha Hai
Ham Toh Marhi Chuke The, Phir Janam Aa Raha Hai....
Sajan Sajan Teri Dulhan Tujhko Pukare Aa Ja

As Swara finished her dance, everyone started clapping. The curtains on the stage closed and everyone gave Swara a standing ovation. Sanskar was still sitting on the seat watching the stage. Flashes of Swara dancing came back to him.

Sanskar- Swara....
He suddenly stood up and left the auditorium.

(Swasan's Flat....)

Swara quietly enters their bedroom. She sees Sanskar sleeping on the sofa.

Swara thinks- Oh no! Sanskar came back from work early? I should change and go to sleep before he wakes up and asks me anything.
Swara turns to leave but is stopped. She turns back to see Sanskar holding her dupatta. Sanskar stands up.

Sanskar- Where were you?
Swara looks around nervously.

Sanskar- I asked you a question.

Swara- Why should I answer you?

Sanskar- Because I asked you a question so u answer the damn question!

Swara- Excuse me, who are you to ask me a question?

Sanskar- I'm ur hu....

Swara- Husband? I don't thinks so Sanskar Maheswari.
Swara starts to leave the room.

Sanskar- Vaise, I didn't know that u were such a good dancer.
Swara stops. She turns to face Sanskar.

Swara- U were there?

Sanskar- Yea. How come u didn't tell me that u dance?

Swara- I only do it for charity. These charities call me and ask me to dance so I dance at functions like these. The money goes to special and needy causes. I have been doing this for years.

Sanskar- So that explains the dancer's outfit u had at Rajjo's wedding. That's why u were out late that night. Wow, I must say, behind that menacing outside, there is actually a heart inside.

Swara rolls her eyes. She turns to leave. Her dupatta falls off, leaving her in only the blouse and skirt. As Swara bends down to pick up the dupatta, Sanskar notices a butterfly tattoo on her lower back near her waist.

Sanskar- Swara, u also have a tattoo? What else do I not know about you?
Swara's face becomes pale. Fear builds up in her eyes as she hears Sanskar's voice.

Swara- There's a lot of things you don't know about me.
After saying that, Swara leaves the room.

Sanskar- Strange...

(Later That Night...)

"NO! Please! Papa! Please maa, it hurts! Please!"
Swara moves on the bed as she sees a nightmare. Squirming in her sleep, she mumbles.

Swara- No please! It hurts...

Sanskar woke up from Swara's speaking. He saw Swara moving on the bed and breathing heavily and shouting. Quickly, he ran to her and patted her cheeks.

Sanskar- Swara? Swara? What happened? Look yeh mazak ka time nahi hai. This is not the time for jokes. Just stop.
Swara started having more fits. She clenched her fists and started shivering. Sanskar became worried seeing her like this.

Swara- No don't hurt me please.
Sanskar took Swara on his lap and hugged her head. He rubbed her hair and back, trying to console her.

Sanskar- No one is going to hurt you Swara. Look I'm here. Ur safe now. No one will hurt you.

Swara woke up and opened her eyes. She found herself in someone's arms. Afraid, she pushed Sanskar back and sat up. With fear in her eyes, she nervously looked around the room. She was still shaking. Sanskar was shocked.

Sanskar- Swara? Swara, look at me.
He tried to make Swara look at him but she wouldn't look.

Swara- He's going to hit me.....she's also coming....

Sanskar- Who's coming? Who's going to hit you? Swara!
Swara pushed Sanskar's hands off of her shoulders. Again, she started panicking.

Sanskar- Swara!

Sanskar slapped Swara, bringing her back into reality. By now, Sanskar was also breathing heavily in fear and worry. Silence filled the room and all that could be heard was their breaths. Swara held her cheek and looked at Sanskar.

Sanskar- Swara I...
He reached out to Swara but Swara pushed his hand away.

Sanskar- Swara I'm sorry yaar. I had no other option. Are you ok?
Without saying a word, Swara laid back down on the bed.

Sanskar- It's ok, u don't have to tell me now. U can tell me later. Now go back to sleep, I'm here. Nothing will happen to you.
Swara goes to sleep as Sanskar caresses her hair.

Sanskar thinks- What happened to Swara? Why is she behaving like this?
