As Jake shoved a wheel into place he felt a hand on his shoulder. He flipped around to expect Anthony or Lilli but there was no one. He got up as the wheel stayed in place and looked all over the garage. He couldn't find anyone. He thought nothing of it and got back to work.
As he pushed the bolt into place he heard the door swung open and a faint alarm in the distance. Jake got up and saw Hannah, Anthony and Lilli running to their vehicles.
"What's going on?" Jake asked.
"There's been a sighting of William about a hundred miles out. We're going to check it out." Anthony said as he flung open his door.
"Just give me like ten minutes and I'll go with y'all." Jake said as he picked up the wrench.
"Don't bother Jake, you need to finish your car and start looking for Jax." Anthony finished. Jake started to argue but he got a glimpse at Hannah and decided to keep shut. He nodded and Anthony sped out of the garage followed by Hannah and Lilli. Jake watched as the disappeared over the hill and he set back to work.
Soon all the wheels were back in place and tightly bound to the car. Jake sat in the car and slowly put the key into the ignition. He turned it and the engine roared loudly. Jake patted himself on the back and pulled the car out of park. He hit the gas and sped out of the garage. As he approached the intersection he looked towards the way Jax went, than the way everyone else went not to long ago.
He took a deep breath and sped towards Jax. As he flew down the road he tapped the screen a few times and a dot appeared on the screen and under it there was a number.
"How the hell did you get three states over in such a short amount of time?" Jake thought. Suddenly a call appeared on screen. He clicked it and was met with a scream.
"What's wrong?" Jake asked after going def for a second.
"Jake, it's bad, Hannah and Lilli are gone!" Anthony cried. Jake slammed on the brakes and skidded to a stop.
"Where are you?" Jake demanded.
"About ten miles from the city we nearly died in." Anthony spoke loudly. Jake hung up and slammed on the gas. He turned the wheel quickly and before he knew it he was on his way towards Anthony.
Soon he saw Anthony pacing back and forth next to an over turned bike and the Audi R8 was flipped. Jake skidded to a stop and flung himself from the car.
"What the hell happened!?" Jake yelled.
"We were on our way to see if William was close when suddenly these two massive SUVs stopped us. Lilli has to drop the bike to stop from going over one of 'em and Hannah got hit by one of them. Her car flipped and the next thing I knew they were holding me down whilst the forced them into the cars." Anthony as he paced.
"Why didn't you fight back!?" Jake yelled.
"I tried, but something made me incredibly weak, as if my powers were gone." Anthony cried. Jake sighed loudly as he feared the worst.
"How long have they been gone?" Jake asked sternly.
"About five minutes." Anthony confirmed. Jake nodded slightly.
"Notify the soldiers and block off every highway. No one gets out or in!" Jake demanded as he soared into the air. As he raced threw the sky his eyes began to glow bright orange along with his left hand and forearm. Suddenly Anthony flew in beside him. Jake was caught off guard and called to him.
"I told you to notify the warehouse." Jake yelled.
"I did, all roads are closed off and all cars are being inspected. No one gets in or out." Anthony confirmed. Jake nodded slight as Anthony's eyes began to glow bright blue and the skies darkened. Suddenly Jake spotted to black SUVs on the side of the road. Jake slammed into the ground as a small crater formed under him. Anthony landed beside him as lightning zapped all around him.
Jake took the back SUV and Anthony took the front. Jake ripped off the door and looked inside. There was nothing but Jake heard a faint beeping. Jake looked around and soon saw a red light going in and out. Suddenly Jake knew what t was. He jumped out of the car and raced into a field Anthony managed to run to Jake and Jake forced his hand up. A stone shield erupted from the ground just as the cars exploded.
Jake peaked around the wall and sighed. He walked back to the flaming wreckage of the cars and kicked the ground. Suddenly Jake heard an engine. He turned around to see a black Mustang speeding towards him. Jake had to think quick. He stomped the ground and a ramp erupted in front of him. Jake slid into the grass and as he turned the car skidded to the side and flipped onto the roof. As it stopped Jake and Anthony ran towards it and ripped off the doors.
A man in a suit was unconscious. Jake ripped him out of the car and Anthony pulled someone else out. Jake threw the man to the ground and ripped off the mans sunglasses.
"Where is my girlfriend asswipe!?" Jake yelled as his eyes grew brighter. The man gulped loudly.
"I-I don't know, I just transport them!" The man cried. Jake pulled him up by his jacket and looked him in the eyes.
"If she's dead, you'll be so doomed that your grandchildren will need security guards. Got it?" Jake boomed. The man nodded frantically and Jake dropped him. As the man ran off Jake turned towards Anthony who appeared to be helping someone.
"Are they alright?" Jake asked as he made his way.
"Yeah, but you'll never believe who it is." Anthony mumbled. As Jake came around the over turned car he saw the one person he never thought he would see.
"Jax?" Jake asked.
"Yeah, must've been caught off guard whenever he stormed off." Anthony mumbled.
"That's impossible, my tracker said he was three states over."
"Must've been where he last was or that's where the car is." Anthony finished. Without warning Jax gasped for air and sat up quickly. Jake knelt down and held his shoulders.
"Alright, hey look at me. You're okay." Jake spoke confidently. Jax pushed Jake away and got up.
"Who the hell are you!?" Jax yelled.
"What do you mean? I've been your bet friend for nine years." Jake defended.
"I haven't known anyone for that long." Jax argued. Jake began to panic slightly.
"Come on, stop messing with me." Jake defended.
"Look, I'm sorry but I don't know you." Jax spoke as he started to walk away. Jake started after him but Anthony grabbed him. Jake yanked away from Anthony and as he ran towards Jax the ground began to rumble.
Jake looked back towards the trees as crunching could be heard coming from them. Jax turned as did Anthony. Suddenly a tank roared from the trees and immensity shot at the three. Jake jumped towards Jax and planted his hand on the ground and a stone wall soared from the ground. Jake got up and immediately pulled Jax behind the over turned car just as the wall exploded. Jake glanced over the car to see Anthony shooting lightning towards it.
But the tank wasn't affected by the blasts. Jake ran out from behind the car and held his hand up. Rocks formed around his left arm and Jake jumped into the air. As he started back towards the tank it aimed at him.
Jake closed his eyes and swung his arm as hard as he could. Jake smashed into the tank and immediately the metal of the tank bent inwards. Jake got up and looked out towards Anthony.
"Well that happened."
