Lilli charged and Jake flew out of the way just as she sped by.
"Lilli, you don't want to do this!" Jake yelled as his eyes grew brighter. Lilli ignored him and charged him again. This time, Jake wasn't fast enough. She tackled him and grabbed his throat. Jake immediately forced his palm to the ground. A pillar of stone erupted from the ground and pushed Lilli off of him. Jake got up and held out his hand. Lilli began to slide backwards. Jake felt his heart skip a beat.
Jake suddenly heard foot steps behind him. Jake glanced back to see Anthony.
"Look, I need your help, I know what I said but I'm sorry!" Jake exclaimed as he noticed something. Anthony's eyes were glowing and his arms had streaks of lightning scorched on his glowing arms and hands. Jake gulped loudly. Suddenly Anthony held up his hand and lightning smacked Jake in the side and sent him tumbling on to the ground. Jake tried to get up but Lilli held him down, her hands were hot.
Anthony grabbed his throat and sent volts into Jake's body. He cried out as his vision grew dark and his robotic arm began to glitch. Jake got an idea. He grabbed Lilli's fore arm and jerked her down. As Anthony looked to her Jake yanked his hand away from his throat and twisted it. Anthony cried out and got off of Jake.
Jake got up and looked at Lilli. His arm vibrated with heat and a sudden burst of electricity. Suddenly Lilli rushes towards Jake, he held out his hand and Lilli was shoved to the ground. Jake thought hard of what to do, suddenly Jake got an idea. He raced over to Lilli and got down. Jake held her arms down and looked her in the eyes.
"Sorry Beaver, I need to get you back before I have second thoughts." Jake spoke as she slowly opened her eyes that had gone back to their normal brown color.
"Ja-?" Lilli was cut off when Jake kissed her intently. Jake felt the heat from her hands slowly die down as he held the kiss. As he pulled away he looked her in the eyes. He grinned slightly and as did she.
"Hey, I'm sorry I left." Jake mumbled.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Anthony, or about the fact that I was with Anthony." Lilli sighed. Jake was about to speak when Anthony grabbed Jake by the back of his shirt and ripped him off of Lilli. Jake hit the ground with surprising force. As he got up Anthony kneed him in the jaw. His metal arm hit the ground and slid on top of it for several feet until he slowly slid into a tree.
He rolled back into his back and felt blood begin to ooze from his mouth. Anthony picked him up by his collar and brought him to eye level. Jake's body was completely limp and he could barely move his head.
"The nuke will destroy this earth and William will take over." Anthony spoke loudly. Suddenly Anthony dropped Jake and fell down beside him. Lilli put a syringe in Anthony's neck and drug out a deep green liquid. Jake pulled himself up and dusted his shirt off.
Lilli threw the syringe into the first and scorched it with flames. Jake chuckled and wiped the blood from his face and pushed a piece of his arm back into place.
"Well, good work, I'm not sure if I could've taken both of you on." Jake chuckled. Lilli shook her head and pulled Anthony up by his arm and placed it over her shoulders.
"What? Oh right, I'm sorry I cheated on you. Oh no, wait a minute, that was you!" Jake snapped. Lilli rolled her eyes.
"I can't believe you!" She snapped back.
"Oh bull! You cheated on me! You couldn't handle yourself! All because I'm not good enough for you!" Jake argued.
"Can we please not do this now?" Lilli mumbled.
"Fine, I'll wait until you find it appropriate to talk about something that you did! Until than I'm out of here. See you around." Jake mumbled as he walked off.
"Jake wait, can't we work this out?" Lilli asked.
"No, maybe, I don't know, I'm not sure. I just now that William will be here soon. We need to get out of here." Jake mumbled as he looked Lilli in the eyes.
"Fine, we'll ride with you until we get to the city." Lilli groaned.
"Until we get to the city? No, I left for a few minutes and y'all nearly killed everyone. I ain't leaving you alone. That's the truth and you know it!" Jake demanded. Lilli grinned and laughed.
"What?" Jake demanded.
"It's cute when you go full southern." She laughed. Jake felt his face grow hot and turned around.
"Let's just go before I change my mind." Jake ordered. Lille agreed and put Anthony in the back of the Mustang. Jake grabbed his jacket and pulled it on as Lilli got in the car. Jake got in and started the engine. As the car tumbled Lilli closed her door. Jake slammed the gas and soon they sped onto the road.
As time went on and the radio played Jake found the sun sinking beneath them and the headlights shining ahead of them. He glanced over at Lilli and saw her sleeping. He gave a faint grin and mumbled to himself.
"Maybe I do need to just let it go and get her back." He glanced back at the road and sighed.
