Jake watched in horror as a Hannah grew limp and hit the ground. Jake looked back towards the man and flew right at him. He tackled the man and grabbed his throat. Jake's eyes began to grow a bright white as rocks began to shake and the sky grew bright orange. Jake raised his metal fist and as he forced it towards the mans jaw the man burst into flames and Jake was yanked off. Jake glanced back to see Lilli standing over the man and her hands were engulfed in flames. Jake's eyes went back to their normal blue as he watched Lilli.
She held her hand to the mans forehead and suddenly his eyes grew bright white as if something was escaping from him. Jake held his arm up to block out the light and suddenly it was gone. As Jake removed his arm he saw Lilli's eyes go back and her hands were put out. She stumbled backwards and fell to her knees. Jake got up and ran to her. He slid on his knees and wrapped Lilli in a hug.
As Jake helped her up he glanced at Hannah. It was as if he forgot about her. He made sure Lilli was okay than ran towards Hannah who had managed to prop herself up on the car with blood oozing from her stomach.
"It's gonna be alright, you'll survive." Jake said in a panicked tone. Hannah shook her head and rolled her eyes.
"When are you gonna stop lying to make others feel better? I'm okay with dying." Hannah said with a pained laugh. Jake ripped his sleeve off and wrapped it around Hannah's wound.
"I'm not lyin', Hannah, you'll be fine it's just a shot to the stomach if I can survive a round or two with a guy two shakes from a God than you can survive this." Jake said as his voice began to shake. Hannah slowly shook her head as her grip loosened on the car.
"Just forget about it. I'm far from being saved." Hannah chuckled as blood dropped from her mouth.
"Come on Hannah, you can't leave us now, please, I already lost Jax I can't lose you as well." Jake mumbled as a tear fell from his face. Suddenly Hannah seemed to relax entirely. Jake quickly moved his blood stained hand to her neck and felt for a pulse.
Nothing. Jake gripped her shoulders and shook his head.
"I'll give him a hit for you." Jake mumbled as he waved his hand and her body slowly began to hover. As Jake moved her body towards the grass and Lilli slowly joined him.
"What are you doing?" She asked with tears slowly falling down her face.
"I didn't get to burry Jax. And I didn't think I'd lose another. So I'm taking this as my chance." Jake mumbled as he slowly place down Hannah's body and made his other hand into a fist a small portion of the ground removed its self and created a small six foot hole. Jake placed Hannah's body in it and slowly covered it with loose dirt.
As the sun sank Jake made his way towards a lake and sat in front of it. Jake picked up a handful of rocks and looked over the lake. He tossed one and it skipped twice. He tossed another and it skipped again.
"What's going threw your head?" Lilli asked as she stood beside him. He didn't answer but only threw another rock, it sank instantly. Suddenly Jake had a lash of anger and he chunked the last rock as hard as he could. He kicked the gravel and slammed his robotic hand into a tree.
He suddenly hit the tree again and again until Lilli grabbed him and spun him around.
"What?" Jake snapped with anger and sadness in his voice. Without saying anything Lilli hugged him and he hugged back.
Soon the sun sank behind the lake and the two slowly headed back to the car.
Alone.
As Jake opened the door for Lilli she gave him a pained smirk and slowly got in. Jake closed the door and glanced back into the trees. He swore up and down he saw Jax and Hannah standing on the edge of the forest. Yet he didn't react. He just gave a faint smile and made his way towards the driver's side. As he climbed in he glanced back to the trees, Jax and Hannah were gone but Jake saw the grave, marked for both Hannah and Jax. He started the car, and for once, he slowly drove off. Never turning back.
