Jake jerked awake as the sun penetrated his closed eyes. He held up his arm and blocked out the sun as he stood up and looked around. Yet was caught off guard when he noticed his feet weren't being poked by rocks and other debris.

He than noticed he was in a large field, full of green grass and a bright blue sky. He glanced down to see he was dressed in his jacket and his favorite pair of black jeans along with black converse.

However, something was off, he felt muscles flex, muscles he couldn't have flexed in years.

He held up his hands and felt his heart jump as instead of a metal fist, there was a fleshy normal hand in front of his face.

"Hello again." A females voice echoed.

Jake spun around to see Lilli standing there.

Jake walked towards her and grabbed her shoulders and ran his hands through her soft, red hair.

"You're... you're... alive?" Jake stuttered.

"No, you're dead. That fall destroyed your organs." She spoke, her flowing white gown brushed against his black jeans.

"What am I doing here? Is the fight over?" Jake asked, his scruffy beard now begging to grow longer.

"The fight isn't over Jake, you still need to be the light in the dark." She spoke.

Jake kissed her and spun her around.

"I don't want to leave you, not again." He mumbled.

"I'm always with you Jake. Just remember to listen." Lilli mumbled before hugging him. Jake embraced her, yet suddenly fell forward and hit his knees.

He looked around, tears in his eyes, only to be back in the crater, alone.

He climbed out, anger and sorrow filling his veins. Jake walked away as fire trucks and an Ambulance roared to a stop just on the other side of the crater.

He than rushed into the air and flew just above the trees. As the rain poured he pushed on harder.

He had to find Ellie and the others. He decided to go back to the hotel, it was a stretch but he had to start somewhere.

He knew he had to change his appearance when all of the sudden a thought raced into his mind.

"Just put your mind to it." A mans voice spoke calmly.

Jake closed his eyes and put his mind at ease.

His metal then gave a groan and his arms were suddenly covered by something. He opened his eyes and landed.

He stared down at himself and saw a red and black leather jacket covering his torso and arms, blue boot cut jeans,

And black converse. Jake watched as the sun slowly peaked over the horizon and the rain began to die down. He held up his metal arm and examined its hand. The carbon fiber finger tips were terribly worn. He could no longer treat it as a shield. Jake had to be careful.

As the sun rose into the sky, he found himself landing just behind a shop.

He walked to the front and pushed open the doors.

There stood a man in a black hoodie with a gun pointed at the cashier.

"Just give me the cash!" The man ordered.

The man spotted Jake and pointed his gun at him.

"Don't move!" He shouted.

Jake flashed his metal arm and instantly charged at the man. He grabbed the muzzle of the gun and pulled him forward. With his metal elbow he knocked the guy in the nose and sent him to the ground.

Jake crushed the gun in his fist and with a gleam of red in his eye, Jake threw the man outside.

He gave one glance at the cashier.

"Have a nice day." He mumbled.

The cashier nodded and Jake walked away.

As Jake walked away he cleared his throat only to have something shoot up from his throat and into his mouth.

He suddenly had a rush of nausea and he quickly grabbed onto a trash can. He held his head over it and vomited. He wiped his mouth and saw a slight amount of blood on his hand.

Jake wiped his hand on his pants and continued walking. He shot into the air and held his phone to his ear. He pressed Ellie's name and put it to his ear.

As the phone rang he saw a man dressed in all black with his face covered trotting towards him. Jake sighed just as Ellie answered.

"Hello?" She asked.

The man drew closer and whipped a pistol out of his jacket.

"Hey, give me a minute." Jake spoke as he placed his phone on the ground and held up his metal arm.

The man squeezed the trigger and as if he knew what would happen. Jake held out his hand and the bullet was stopped in his metal palm

Jake tossed the bullet down and looked at the man.

"Are you done?" Jake asked.

The man stopped dead in his tracks and removed his hood.

"I don't want any trouble." He pleaded.

Jake rolled his eyes just as red and blue began to circle in his corneas. The man fell onto the ground and as he tried to run Jake grabbed his jacket and forced him up.

"You like picking fights?" Jake scolded.

"No man... I-I didn't mean anything by it." The man cried.

Jake made a fist and punched the man in the jaw. Lightning flashed just as his metal fist made contact with his jaw.

The man fell onto his back and his jaw was crooked.

Jake picked up his phone and put it in his pocket. He cleared his throat and rocketed into the air.

He had to go back to his destroyed home. He had to find someway of getting out of the atmosphere.
