It had been days since the team had gotten back from Nevada yet Jake had only moved from his desk to his work bench for his arm. Whilst he worked he had attached an older version of an arm he had built. His beard had grown scraggly and long. His hair had matted down where he leaned against his chair when he had lost himself in thought and his eyes were bloodshot due to the bright light of the welding torch.

He had managed to recreate the design of the arm but he still felt it was missing something. As he went over the blueprints for the tenth time in a row he saw something out of the corner of his eye. We turned to see Abbie standing in the threshold of his room.

"Hey." Jake said as he placed the prints back on the desk and ran his hand through his tangled, matted hair and then scratched his scraggly beard.

"It's been like two weeks since anyone has seen you." Abbie laughed.

"Yeah well, I've been working on a new arm that can both contain the energy of the three elements and withstand from being ripped in half. The previous arm just barley held the power so when Thatcher shattered it the energy that had built up forced its way out and that's why it exploded." Jake rambled.

"So is that stoping you from grooming yourself?" Abbie mocked.

Jake rolled his eyes and walked towards his workbench and picked up the stones.

"I just really need to do this. It'll give me something I haven't felt since I thought I finished Thatcher off all those years ago." Jake mumbled.

"Well, put some decent clothes on, you're getting rid of that mop on your head, it's moved to your face so let's go." Abbie spoke as she opened his door and walked out.

Jake looked back to his closet and sighed. He quickly changed and walked out after changing out his arm for a defense weapon. He had managed to create a fast acting cell growth that altered the look of metal and carbon to resemble his skin tone.

As the two walked into the garage Jake climbed into a mclaren and Abbie got in on the other side.

"Where did you get all of this money?" Abbie asked.

"During the five years I took off after Lilli died I decided to build artificial limbs for military personal and for the other four and a half years I built and sold the US government multiple missiles and weapons." Jake spoke.

"I thought the government killed Lilli?" Abbie asked.

"It was Thatcher and his goons dressed in their gear." Jake went on.

"Turns our Thatcher had ransacked one of their hangers earlier that year and used it to get to us." Jake finished.

As they drove into the city a blip popped up on the map and began moving towards the center.

"What's that?" Abbie asked.

"Shit... this car tracks high frequencies of Uranium and military grade metals." Jake snapped.

"Wait, there's a blip in the center on top of the car."

As Abbie finished her sentence Jake flung open the car door and climbed out. He held out his hand behind the car and instantly. His arm turned to a black alloy arm with red light striped running down to his hand. With his other hand he tapped something on the back of his ear and a large white and red strip of iron wrapped around the back of his head and somewhat onto his temples. He tapped the metal button again and a glass visor flung from one temple and connected to the other. He ran his hand down his jacket and it turned into a black metal plate that sat over his chest. It gripped onto his body and smaller plates slid down his torso. It hit his belt and latched onto the belt buckle.
