Talk it out Tuesday

A little over a week went by and Renjun was giving Jeno the silent treatment. He never apologized for what he said. Haechan asked every day but Jeno somehow managed to avoid the question completely. At least until today.

Haechan was standing near the schools entrance waiting for the buses to let out. He was gonna force Jeno to apologize. Haechan felt awful whenever he thought about that moment at lunch and he wanted to fix everything. As soon as he spotted the boys he grabbed Renjun and Jeno by the wrists and motioned for Jaemin to follow.

"Good morning Haechan." Renjun said as he was being dragged.

"Good morning Renjun." Haechan said as he was dragging them. He shoved the boys into an empty computer lab and told them to sit.
"Alright. We're gonna talk about what happened, alright?" Renjun and Jaemin nodded while Jeno rolled his eyes and got up. "Don't you fucking dare."

"Goodby-"

"I'll fucking expose you don't even try me."

"Expose wh-"

"You know what now sit down and listen!"

"Bye." Jeno turned around, his hand still on the door handle when Jaemin spoke up. "If you don't want to listen you don't have to just stop being an asshole. Renjun hasn't spoken to you in what, 8 days? We're your friends."

"I can't hurt your feelings because you're not even real!" Jeno sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

"What does that even mean?" Haechan asked.

"They're robots. My parents built them over the summer and decided to send them out to school with me, probably just to stalk my every movement, and I hate it and them."

"Robots?" Jaemin nodded in affirmation. "You two are robots?" Jaemin showed him his charging port where his ribs should be. "What even- and you weren't even gonna tell me?" He pointed an accusing finger at Jeno.

"No! Why would I? It doesn't matter!"

"The Hell do you mean 'It doesn't matter'?! You lied to me so easily. Your 'neighbors' yeah, okay. Not mechanical people. No offense. Whatever back to the main reason I brought you here. Apologize."

"I'm sorry for lying to you." Jeno frowned when Haechan rolled his eyes.

"Apologize to Renjun. You hurt him. According to Jaemin, he hasn't talked to you in eight days. That's awful. It's been eight days."

"I can't do it. Stop asking."

"Why can't you do it?"

"I can't!"

"Why the fuck not?!"

"Because they're too real! I tried to brainwash myself to believe that they weren't but they act so normal. They have different personalities and speech patterns. Have you looked into their eyes?It's fucking mind blowing but I wish it wasn't."

"You've been an overdramatic asshole because they're too real?"

"You don't understand what this does to me Haechan. I fucked with myself and I can't fix it." Defeated, Jeno sat down with his back to the door. "Renjun I'm so sorry. I know I meant to hurt you but I regret it so so much. At the time I was actively trying to hate you. I don't. You're really sweet and a dork and I hope we can move past this as friends."

"I forgive you." Jeno looked up as Renjun spoke and smiled. He held out his hand and Renjun pulled him up into a hug. The bell rang and Haechan sighed.

"Now was that so hard?" He mumbled as he opened the door and ushered the other boys out. He felt accomplished as a human being after bringing his friends back together. He didn't care that Renjun and Jaemin weren't human. They acted real enough. Sure that but if information might be gnawing at the back of his skull whenever he talks to them but he won't let it overshadow the bond they've formed.

Hopefully.

(Now that they're all buddy buddy again what should they do first?)
(I honestly didn't think anyone would read this/ I'd commit to a story this long but here we are.)
