Word had spread that Renjun and Jaemin were together and the school was buzzing with rumors. A popular one was that they were cheating on each other with the same guy.

"Just saw Jaemin and Jeno hug too long for it to be considered a homie thing."
"Art boy and dance boy went out together this weekend. I swear he's cheating on Jaemin."

About a day later all the boys were gathered in Haechan's living room. He was standing near the tv that his laptop was connected to and had a green stick with a pointing gloved hand at the tip. "Listen up boys! We got something big coming up. And by big I mean huge. And by huge I mean bigger than Jenos nose." Haechan dodged a marshmallow that was thrown at him and continued. "Every year at school around this time we have an even called Homecoming. It's where all of the kids get together and have a little dance party. One tradition that comes with Homecoming are the proposals. For example," he hit a button on his keyboard. It was a picture of the inside of a box that read "I doughnut know if you like me that much but it'd sure b sweet if you went to hoco with me" where all the O's were made out of doughnuts. "So it's like a cute pun?" Jaemin asked. "Essentially, yes." Haechan nodded. "So if I wrote 'would a cutie pie like you go with me to hoco?' on a pie and presented it someone, that'd be cute?" Jaemin tilted his head and glanced at the other two boys by his side. "Yes! Food is always the right answer! The majority of teenagers I know would fall for someone the second they found out they could cook." Haechan clicked the slide onto a blank page. "That was all I had I feel asleep while making it. You could run for homecoming court? Become Homecoming king? Maybe prince?" He shrugged as he closed his laptop and turned on some cartoons. He laid down on the floor next to his friends and looked up at the ceiling. "They say you're supposed to ask your partner to the dance. Would the school allow three boys to run?" Renjun asked, leaning back and plucking at the carpet. "Oh, absolutely not. Pick two of you. I'd say Jaemin and Renjun to kind of confirm that relationship. Everyone is a little confused. Plus people would be furious with Jaemin if they think he ditched you for him." Haechan motioned towards Jeno and swatted another marshmallow that was thrown his way. "Stop throwing marshmallows at me! They're all over the floor!" He huffed and started picking them up and throwing them back at Jeno. "Haechan will you be my date -as a friend thing of course- for Hoco? Unless you're already going with Mark." Jeno asked. "I have to. I can't go with Mark because his reputation would be absolutely destroyed. Ugh. Homophobia sucks." He sighed and joined the other three on the floor. "Agreed."
