Chapter 87- Keep My Baby Alive

WARNING! ITS A VERY SAD CHAPTER

"Mark quickly! Place your hand here" Alice told him as she took a hold of his hand and placed it on her bare belly. She was feeling the baby kicks.

"There, did you feel that?" Alice asked him.

"Woah! Y-Yes this is weird. Does it hurt?" He asked sitting at the couch beside her with his hand still on her belly.

"It doesn't hurt, its more like a ticklish feeling." Alice smiled, tears brimming her eyes.

Mark bent his head down infront of her face worriedly "Alice.. are you crying?" He titled her chin up to look at him.

Alice sniffs and swipes her hand across her cheeks. "I just... I'm going to be a Mum. I'm going to have a baby in my arms within the next 2 weeks. It just feels unreal. I didn't ever picture myself even stepping out my house, living a normal life like everyone else. I thought I'd grow old and die alone."

Marks hand slipped between the gap of her back and the sofa, rubbing her lower back. "You'll be an amazing Mum, I know that for sure."

"And we can both make sure to give our baby the best life." Alice leaned into Mark, resting her head on his shoulder.

"Yep! The kind of life we both couldn't live. My childhood was taken away from me since I had to train at an early age. I didn't even get to go to University like my friends have. I am greatful for the life I have now, with 6 people I work with who are like my brothers, but sometimes I do wonder what my life would have been like if I didn't become an idol." Marks hand that was on Alice's lower back, moved to her head as he stroked her hair.

"Hmmm. By the way, we haven't thought up of names yet. We should do it now!" Alice told.

"Okay. If we have a boy what would you like to name him?" Mark asked her.

"Noah. I like the name Noah for a boy. What about you?" Alice asked.

"Leo or Isac. What about for a girl?"

Alice lifted her head up to look at him. "Saffron!" She smiled widely. "Saffron is my favourite flower" she told him.

"Okay.. I'll keep that in mind then" Mark smiled back.

"What girl name do you like?" She rested her head back on his shoulder.

"Rosalie" he told her.

Alice didn't respond back. She silently enjoyed being wrapped up in Marks arms. Does Mark feel any love for me? He's  never said I Love you to me yet. Isn't that what people do when they're in love?

That night Mark stayed awake while Alice was fast asleep. He had a paper and pen in his hand as he was writing a letter to Alice. He wrote how he felt about her and he planned to give it to her on the day their baby arrived into the world, as a sort of gift back to her.

After he was done writing it. He sealed it in an envelope and hid it between two books on the shelf.

Skip to 2 days before Alice's due day

Alice had fallen extremely ill with a high fever. "Mark I'll be fine. The doctor in LA who had given me my results about my illness, told me I'd go through this now and then and it's nothing to worry about since my body is getting stronger and toughening up my immune system. Maybe because being pregnant is such a huge shock to my body, but a little rest and i"ll get better." She told his as she lay in bed breathing heavily and sweating as Mark was placing a wet flannel on her forhead to try and cool her temperature down.
