Chapter 101- Healing Process

Since the incident, Lina had to stay in hospital for a week with Jackson who was discharged, but refused to leave his girlfriends side and said he would take care of her too, though he was hopping around on one leg himself, because of the bullet wound to his thigh.

Lina's parents had also come to visit after getting the news from Jackson and her father was devistated to find out about Ilhoons fathers plans to win him over for business deal and allowing Ilhoon into his daughters life, into his own home putting his Angel in danger, without doing any background check ups on the boy.

"Jackson... I really can't thank you enough for saving my Angel" Mr Harrison broke down into tears in the corridor of the hospital, outside Lina's room.

"A fathers job is to make sure his daughter is safe and I failed at that simple responsibility."

Jackson was shocked at seeing this big muscular guy crying for the first time.
I guess every fathers weakness is their daughters.

Jackson hugged the older man imidiately though he had never hugged him before and tapped his back. "You shouldn't have to thank me Mr Harrison. I said I would do anything for her." Jackson let the man go and looked at him.

"Don't be so hard on yourself. She has many people around her that care for her. Not just me or you or her mother, but my boys and her friend SooAh. We love her dearly Mr Harrison and what I've learnt over this year is.. we can't always grantee to make sure she's safe..." Jackson took the other man's hands in both of his and gave him a reassuring gentle squeeze "but we can try our best to do what we can. You were busy with work it must have been a stressful time hmm? There was no chance you would have known what she was going through. Lina is so good at hiding her pain because she doesn't want others to get hurt too, so she takes it all herself."

Jackson chuckled a little.

"Quite stubborn if I say so... but I can't really talk. I can be too. Something we have in common" he blushed. "Not sure if that's a good thing" he scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

Mr Harrison smiled. He was happy to see Jackson was back in his daughters life because he was someone he knew would take care of his daughter.

"There we go. Smile Mr Harrison because your daughter needs you now. She's in the healing process and it'll be hard for her even more now, as she was so use to..." Jackson's jaw clenched as he remembered all the things he knew Ilhoon did to Lina.

He took a deep sigh.

Mr Harrison patted Jackson's shoulder "We'll take it all one step at a time."

"Mr Harrison!" Jinyoung suddenly interupted. "I was wondering if I could have a word with you..."

Meanwhile Yugyeom was discharged the next day with some bandages and dressing to take with him, as he could take care of the wound at home.

SooAh had chosen to stay over at the boys apartment and take care of Yugyeom, while he was on crutches as the leg that got the knife stab was still weak to walk on. SooAh also suggested to baby sit Saffron so Mark could get back to work. He just had the cut across his nose which had already scabbed over.

Jinyoung had gone home too since he only had a bloody lip, but he was spending most of his time with Mr Harrison to find a good lawyer to fight Lina's case and make sure Ilhoon is taken to caught and jail the minute he's out of the hospital

The next few days Lina had an hour each day on her own talking to a female therapist. She had gone through a lot of emotional trauma and her abuse had really taken a toll on her. Whenever a male other than Jackson came near her, she'd freeze and turn away thinking they'd hurt her even if she knew they wouldn't it was just by instinct.
